Has anyone looked at Futu? I am kicking myself, had 500+ shares in late 2019 and sold them for $10. I was convinced it was the right play but bailed after such little coverage and general negativity, it hit $160 today

Kind of figured with the Fed Rate decision today.

Doubt anything will change though. But always be ready if they throw a curveball.

Maybe I'm a sucker but I keep adding to PSTH as we head to the end of March. Watched the interview last night where he again spoke about rewarding those long on it and with discussing PSTH II already and the original timeline we're hopefully due. The problem is if we don't get a Q1 ending announcement we might see one of those dips.

The Subway memes have been picking up though which have me a little queasy.

I know what you’re saying about being a sucker for certain stocks. I’ve acquired quite a bit of PLTR, DMYD, AI, and FRX on the dips that keep on dipping the last couple weeks.

Subway strikes me as something that would have been an awesome pickup if it was listed late 90’s/early 2000’s. I remember actually enjoying to eat lunch there and it was a quality sub for low cost. Now I haven’t eaten there since the pandemic started and even before that I would more often do Jimmy John’s if I felt like getting a sub for lunch.

Glad to see someone else has AI right now. Waiting for it to bounce back up. I'm down about $15/share on it right now but I think it's well-positioned to go up. Just bought CMO and ENB this morning. Looking forward to those dividends.

this should be some free money if you can find out when CVM has their data come out and buy PUTS. they say by April 15, but who knows if they keep trying to find a way to stall. they have 21.9 million in cash, so should have a fair value of 50 cents per share. complete scam co.

found the APHA/TLRY has a vote on the merger on April 14. if/when it gets voted for then you just need to find out the closing date and buy APHA stock and TLRY puts near that time depending on the spread.

will be interesting to see what happens for BIIB alzheimer drug. PDUFA is June 7. buy some calls in the weeks leading up to it in case it is early. Eisai - ESALY might be interesting as downside would be 50 and upside 100+ based on the high and low points of the drug's development history. should still have a shot if billy dunn is still there.

You need to buy the options in BIIB now. Big money will load up first. Also, biogen is a great company but their primary money machine is about to come off patent. Projections are to earn less next year. You’d be banking on the ALZ drug to be approved at that point. That one is cheap for a reason.

Weird past few weeks for them.

Didn't follow the call but bought some more AMD since after-hour drop seems to correlate.

This is a really simple question but I can't seem to find an answer anywhere:

I have a few stocks that will pay dividends tomorrow and have DRIP set up now. Will the dividends go out at market open, market close, some other time?

Thanks.

What do you mean “go out”?

Stock prices are adjusted down premarket

Such a bummer, I had just under 6,000 shares of UVXY, sold them yesterday morning so I could wire the funds to another broker and rebuy there and the position is up $4,000 from where I sold it. I knew this would happen but I also didn’t want the shares locked in an ACAT for 10 days

My trading account started the day deeply in the red and now it’s up .79% on the day.

How do you guys typically invest? Is it with a handful of individual stocks, through a total stock market fund or a combo of the two?

Have been laying off trading recently with the uneasiness/uncertainty in the market. Pretty much just selling covered calls and holding longer-term options. Have gotten somewhat hammered on a few of the latter, but not bad as I still have 4-5 months to expiry.

The dollar starting to curl up a bit, could be an encouraging sign if it continues. Fund re-balancing for month/quarter-end probably also having an impact recently.
