They're ramping up production on this, judging by the three new relatively high numbered parallels.

There's also a mini insert set and mini rookie autographs for everyone who missed those.

Overall, predictable but welcome changes for next year.

Meh....not great, not horrible...the GQ logo is horrible, but at least it's better placed than in past years.

I say they really should rotate this one triennially with Ginter & Archives

Looking forward to this. 2020 GQ is the set that got me back into card collecting after 15+ years.

Generally like the design. Don’t really care for this one, however.

Or with Ginter & Museum.....Archives is a different type of product.

Topps had cancelled the regular retail release of this a month ago, and I heard the rumors that hobby may too be cancelled, but today I heard it was pushed until late August.
So, it may be awhile until we see this one, but sounds like it is still on.

Never quite understood this one. Always struck me as a Ginter’s less attractive sister. To be fair, one of my favorite PC Cards is a GQ card(Griffey 2011 auto). It was also the reason I quit collecting for almost a decade as I told myself I’d stop buying packs once I hit a Griffey auto.

$275 a box blows my mind. I know it’s the new normal but still.

That is going to absolutely kill this product. It is helped tremendously by being one of the first releases of the season

Topps needs to blow up the GQ aesthetic.

Ginter, Archives, & Heritage have the faux vintage look covered.

At least try one year of GQ with a Outrun like vibe or futuristic rendition of GQ to mix it up.

This is going to run right in the middle of chrome season. As noted above, probably not going to be as popular as when offering early season.

This bums me out. I find GQ to be a million times more visually appealing than Ginter. It's been my favorite set since I came back into collecting about 6 years ago.

I'm with you on this. I would take the design of GQ over A&G any day.

I would love to see a Gypsy Queen Chrome like we had A&G last year.

I used to look forward to Gypsy Queen for the buttons, game used ball/stitches, and game used base type of cards. They have none of those last year nor this year (game used base was included last year, but not this year). Now it's just the socks, garments, and normal jerseys and patches. I wish they would get back to bulking up the different types of materials used in a product like this.

So they are going to release it same day as Topps Chrome and while the National hopefully will be going on. Interesting.

It's a perfectly cromulent word.

(Triennial - every 3 years. Like biennial - every 2 years.)

This sucks as Gypsy Queen is my favorite set to collect for the autographs. I hope it still comes out which I think they will as I am sure players already signed cards
