FYI looks like some people who signed up for the subscription, including myself, received payment failed emails this morning. If I go into my account is says next attempt date is the 11th, but not sure if that means for the next set of cards or the current. Since it seems like a widespread thing, hope they fix it.

This happened to me today, I went and updated my credit card but nothing was wrong. I went ahead and ordered this week separate, as it said next attempt was on 2/19.

Are they changing the image of cards that are ending today? (#178 & 179)
The website shows the cards with "IMAGE COMING SOON" on product listing page, though when you click and scroll through the "gallery" you can see the original cards.

I'm wondering if they are experimenting with hiding the image until all cards are shipped or if they are experimenting with having alternate images for SP cards. They did this on purpose (someone even blurred the name and movie) so it should be for a good reason. I'm guessing they've seen how the TBT sets increased sales with parallels and alternate images and the living sets are next.

He shared them on FB, I think it was Topps, he's not sure why they didn't update but thinks it could have been due to the crazy weather.

Huh interesting, thanks for the note. What is weird is they had Slowen-lo and The Armorer up and then purposefully removed the correct images. How would the weather explain that?

I'm new to the forums and fairly new to collecting SW cards.

What do people think of the Living Set? Will these cards hold their value over the long term? They're definitely appreciating in value at the moment, but seen opinions that we're near the peak of a hype cycle about all things cards and collectibles, which is driving prices up. Do people think prices will eventually come back down? Thinking of buying up some old cards in the set, but wondering if I'll be overpaying if I start buying now.

Short truth: no one really knows. It's hard to say if they're pogs or 1952 Topps. My guess is that, you know, 70 years from now these are closer to 1952 Topps than pogs. That's my guess, it's nothing but. That said, I put my money where my mouth is and have an extensive collection of these cards.

One thing I'll say is that if someone is hyping this set, it sure the heck ain't happening on these boards. This thread is relatively dead.

Who's hyping Star Wars Living Set and how can I subscribe to their newsletter? lol

I saw your post on the fb group. I've posted my sale spreadsheet both there and here and my prices are outrageous like you would expect from someone who thinks this set is amazing. Feel free to PM me if you'd like to purchase any though.
