Yeah I was watching but it got much higher than a typical silver so I didn't bid. Congrats on the pickup. I have a Flux Bronze Prizm and they look good and you don't come across many of them.

I love my Zions and suspect they will go crazy in the near future. Going to try to move a few though for an opportunity in real life. Honestly I’m hoping some of my other stuff sells first and I just hold a lot of these.

Never seen this guy before, but a really solid breakdown and analysis of BBW's dominance thus far.

I'll go out and say it: he has the best handles of any starting 4 today (assuming you classify Bronny as a hybrid 1/3).

His in and out stutter cross and spin are absolutely lethal, especially when combined with that first step explosion.

Oh dang didn't see those. I was at work and threw a few bids at the Phoenix but it got higher than I expected. I need to stop buying raw cards for a while anyway.

I thought that might dilute the pricing, but nope, they all seemed to go right at or even above market.

Funny that GeechQuest was proven right... The red parallel to 15 in a PSA 10 Sold for less than the /99 copies.

How would you all rank his Chronicles cards? Is Phoenix the top one to grab? I was watching that Blue as well and it's a beautiful card. But speaking on just the base versions, are there one or two more desirable options in the Chronicles set?

Phoenix was the top attainable set from 2018-19 but it seems to be Crusade or Phoenix depending on the player for 2019-20. As far as variations, jersey match seems to be the big winner aside from the golds. I think if you can snag any numbered Chronicles chrome (Crusade, Phoenix, Flux, Hometown Heroes) it's a decent bet moving forward. Some of numbered foils are nice too (Essentials and XR being my favorite).

The color parallels don't closely match Zion's cards like they did with Luka and Trae, but the closest is the red crusade.

I was kinda glad they went high, I still kinda want one but already blew my spending cash for the week. Got the Opulence /39 with the same pic as the One and One, and the Court Kings Level 4 True Gem+ for essentially the same price as an ungraded One and One. I figured those will always be around but the Level 4's are pretty impossible to find, and this copy is one of the highest graded

Nice! I actually recommended that to the guy looking for something yesterday, along with some others. I think the gap between Zion and Luka is far too big given the on-court production. That gap is wider than the gap between Zion and Trae / Ja, which to me implies some sort of correction, whether it be Zion going up or everyone else going down. Either way I'm all in on his #'d autos, I feel like they're more SP than people realize and far less volatile than graded base or parallels

His #'d auto's ARE far less available than people realize. This is because there are an insane amount of people holding unopened wax. Over half of his NT RPAs are still in boxes. Look at the pop reports of 2019-20 NT RPAs vs the prior years. There are waaaay less of them.

There have only been 2 Flawless vertical RPAs that have ever hit ebay and one is on auction right now (no, it's not mine). There also has only been 2 Emience true RPAs that have hit ebay. Both of them are near impossible to find.

I'm not as in tuned with the basketball products as I am baseball but is Spectra not real desirable compared to the price of the boxes? I think they are sharp looking cards but don't see many shown off. Does it get buried below the other products for a reason or does it do pretty well?

there's been a few Flawless / Eminence on Goldin that I can see but you're right there's going to be just less seen overall due to wax prices (NT tracker still shows only 30, and it's coming up on a year). I think I pointed out the SP nature of his cards relative to typical PR a while back, and when you have that combined with how many are stuck in sealed boxes, the number actually available to the market is tiny compared to previous stars.

One that stuck out to me (and yes I have one) was the Contenders Optic Blue, because they are only numbered to 35 (70 total), which just seemed really low considering Luka has 99+49 (148 total), and likely only 25-30 of Zion's have actually been unearthed. For this card with a PR that's <50%, and likely an even greater gap POP-wise (currently 97 to 21 total graded), to sell for <50% of Luka prices... that's a helluva multiplier for Luka IMO

There's likely other examples of stuff like this, and of course there are offsets to the overall Zion auto market due to new products (One and One being an example), but for those traditional products like NT / Flawless / Immac / Contenders, I can see why the prices have never dropped, no matter what the base cards are doing.
