Default Is this item being shilled?

I put a bid on this card and then there were 4 more bidders that joined as well. However, the percentage rating of the 4 other bidders dealing with the seller are 96%, 54%, 81%, and 84%. Is this coincidence that the percentages are so high?

I doubt it is being shilled. People forget that a high percentage does not always mean shilling. Greg Morris has a huge following of collectors that bid on his items all the time and only his items..

Now if there were lots of retractions with those bids then you might have something.

With the rate I bid on auctions and the way I do when I do I appear as as 100% often I prefer just to hit BIN rarely bid on any auctons,

Greg Morris has a huge following as Shreve mentioned. Many people who buy vintage primarily buy through his auctions as it's the best place to get vintage in better grades. It's not too unusual to see someone have a high % of bids with GM.

Probably not shilled. Greg Morris auctions usually get bidders that bid over comps on his auctions. He has a very good reputation.

I know quiet a bit of people that send Greg cards all the time and all of them bid on their cards. Always.

This card is going for 11.00. Would be a wild move to have 4 bidders bid it up to that ridiculous amount. I would never even think to look at bidding percentage for a card selling that low.

I don't believe its shilled. However any seller who takes consignments will have the issue of people bidding up their items. It is shilling but it would be impossible to prove for Ebay or the seller and there is nothing either one can do to stop it from happening. It happens with COMC, Probstein, and PWCC.

If any of them is a shill than I would bleive its the one who dropped at 6.00 so even if he had not bid the item would be at that same price it is now because the first bid placed on the item was more than the "shill"

The one with 40 feedback looks more like a person who bids ALOT on cheap auctions hoping to snag some in the process. I used to do that on CDs back years ago with JayandMarie. Greg starts all his auctions at less than 1.00.
