You weight in-person attendance a little too heavily.

Given your relentless posts about attending matches in person, you act like that's the ONLY way to gain knowledge into soccer collecting.

It doesn't hurt, but it does not make one "end all be all". If you think it does, it's unfortunate I'm the one to break it to you.

With all the Topps Chrome love that Haaland has been getting, you would expect that to carry over to the Topps Chrome Mbappe stuff. I'll be curious to see where the Purple PSA 10s end at this week. Almost makes that Blue Topps Chrome PSA 10 at $22K seem like a steal.....

We are even seeing crazy sales for the Topps Kick digital cards. Looks like one sold overnight for $400

Will be fun watching him versus Bayern over the next 2 weeks!
thanks for letting me know that topps kick is selling. i used to be big into it when they still had the premier league. i've really fallen out of love since then but i still log on most days to get my free cards. turns out i have one of the haaland finest sigs that have been selling for >$100 the past few days.

A little defensive there pal?

Going to 20 or 30 matches a year home and abroad for 30 years and/or being a season ticket holder and being involved in the game at various levels gives you much more insight into football than watching it on the TV and supporting your club on Twitter, yes. Of course there's nothing wrong with that and you can gain knowledge reading headlines and following hype though you miss out on so much that you just cant pick-up on the TV.

This forum would have had you believe that Kai Havertz was the second coming of christ last year. Same for Kubo or James Maddison. Many of them having only seen them on highlight reels. It get's out of hand, and some seem to get offended when they get given a dose of reality. Money does funny things to people.

So many soccer threads get sidetracked with guys trying to prove what level they know soccer. If it's made you happy, then share it with the world . Really, everyone had to start somewhere....

Meanwhile to get back on track here...

Mbappe Select White /99 BGS 9 just did $4777 yesterday. A little over a month ago a Copper /49 BGS 9.5 did $3387 (a few weeks after his hat trick against Farmer League? Barcelona). It's obviously new money that is coming into the soccer (football!) market. I actually still think his stuff is such a bargain compared to ceiling. If he keeps playing this way, these cards will most likely be unobtainable very shortly.

I'm curious bud....do you collect cards? I don't think I've ever seen you share your collection or even trade on here. Is your objective to just be a downer every single day? You need some church in your life. Maybe a life coach so that you can be more cheerful and support other humans.

As I've stated to you before....it stinks that you didn't buy into all the soccer hype 2-3 years ago when everything was dirt cheap like a few of us did. You could've made some crazy money to build an awesome Zlatan collection instead of jumping on Blowout daily to troll everyone. Oh well....hope you have a blessed day my friend

I got a few soccer cards.
Let me take a quick pic of what's laying around.

You’re asking if I’m being defensive?

I’m not the one trying to brag about how many games I attend each year “home and abroad” to try to make others believe I know what I’m talking about in a forum that supposedly last year wanted people to believe Havertz was really, REALLY, good. LOL

It’s comical you poke fun at this forum, and at the same time you try so very hard to convince this forum you’re smarter than most because they don’t brag about the games they attend like you do.

If you shared your knowledge in a more positive way, maybe people would take you more seriously.

All those games watched and still doesn’t know a damn a thing about the hobby. What a shame.

Pretty sure k13 doesnt want to post his main PC as it can be tracked back to his real life persona.

He had made enemies theoughout the forum( basketball, soccer, hockey) etc.

I don't have the vast knowledge that all the other soccer guys have and have been told that he should not be compared to Messi/Ronaldo, but all the numbers and accolades are there and I have yet to hear one expert (former player/coach/scout/writer) not speak fondly of him or call him and Haaland the "Next".

The 2016 will be a key card, but I think the 2017 Chrome & Select will have a huge place amongst sportscards collectors. As far as ceiling, there is none really. For the best of the best, there never is one.

Football needs the next superstars, its been ronaldo/messi for the past 10-15 years. Haaland and Mbappe might become great players, but its the flair and class with which ronaldo/messi played that will be impossible to replicate. Also the longevity, i dont think the previous stars like ronaldo(R9), zidane, baggio or ronaldinho had such a long peak.

Imagine going into a must win game with Choupo-Moting up front.

I could name a squad of centre-backs with a better goal record than he has haha

Professional, very good spirit and much appreciated in a locker room. I think every team needs this kind of player for a good atmosphere in the group
