I drove by mine at 8:35AM thinking the crowd might have died down and there would be some Series 1 left over. Line was easily 30 people deep still. Drove on to my office.

Dropped my son off at school, went to Target at 8:20 to get a latte, strolled by the card isle (not a soul in sight) and all the Donruss was left for the kids (and me).

Was dropping off a few packages at the post office, decided to head over to 2 targets beforehand. Seven Corners somehow opened before 8am, when I got there at around 8 all that was left was Heritage.

The other Target in Arlington (off Leesburg pike) didn’t have any 8am Friday signs up, but a bunch of Topps Series 1 was there. That was at 8:10am.

Pretty crazy out there. I thought I’d at least see lines at both, but they were all gone by the time I got there. Flippers move quick I guess

I was in line in Sterling at 7:45. Some folks had scooted in behind me who just came from leesburg (15 min away). It’s wild out here. Even in the ‘burbs.

Wow! I didn’t realize Targets opening up prior to 8am was happening elsewhere.

Wonder how Fair Lakes and Burke was this morning

A buddy of mine decided to give it a go after work and he's been there since 4:45. He said there was at least 10 people ahead of him (last week the line like kinda smallish at around 6..but that's before tons of people started cutting in line later so I told him to watch out for that). Waiting to hear back from him to see what he got

Word must have gotten out after the ease of last week. There were easily 4 times as many people as last week and the more serious flippers looked like they dragged in tagalongs to combat the 1 per limit. It looks like they got 9 of some kind of football (couldn't see) and 9 or 12 Prizm restocks. I was about 16th or 17th in line so got a Donruss Basketball blaster so at least I get to open something. I'm betting this continues to grow, so I think I am likely out as I can see the wait time start to increase. I'll go if i can stroll up at 8 and not wait, but I'm not getting there an hour+ early.

Yeah when i overheard them i looked and sure enough they open at 7. But they did have an 8am sign so... not sure if they’re secretly releasing at 7am

Anywhere in Eastbay! I live in Southbay (San Jose) certain locations are busier but not as bad as Hayward/Fremont.

I had an early work call so didn’t go to wait in line. Did go to Burke Target at 8:15 to pick up a few things. Figured I might be able to also pick up some leftovers. There was still a line 20+ deep at 8:15. I went in picked up the things I needed and checked the card aisle to see what there was. There was plenty of baseball. S1 tins and about 50 hangers, Donruss, Heritage Blasters, and even a few Opening Day blasters. Might try to go back in a little while and see if there are any tins or Heritage blasters left.

Disappointed in no pics of the dirty, greasy haired, loser basement dwellers.

I showed up to my main Target around 7:40, there were probably 50 people in line. Easy pass there, no desire to wait in that when all that left is probably mediocre baseball

Other Target on the way to work, stopped by right at opening. Went inside anyways, basically all that was left was baseball. I have no clue what to buy for Pokémon, so left it, but I think I should have bought the ETB I saw leftover. Oh well.

I will 100% say most of the people I saw that got Prizm basketball/the good stuff, were young 20's that looked like they were 100% in the flip for profit and didn't care about the actual cards specifically.

I did try to buy a retail display box of Series 1 baseball, since it was unopened. Item not found, and they came back saying they are only selling individual packs. Limit of 3, so I was like no thanks. I did talk to one of the young flippers, asked what time he got there, he said 4:30. I do not think he had Prizm in his cart, but I mostly saw pokemon and some Donruss/Hoops basketball from what it looked like.

As for the limit of 3, that is hard in place by the computer system, as someone tried to buy a ton of individual donruss baseball packs but the system only let him buy 3. Now, who's to say you checkout, and buy more in the same thing. Only thing stopping is an actual Target employee looking. What stopped this guy was he was confused why it stopped and wouldn't let him wring them up anymore, so he called for assistance, the lady told him, and he got flustered and upset. He even said "So what are you going to do with these, put them back on the shelf, and I can go back and buy them?"

she said no, we won't allow you.

lol

Maybe it’s my area but it was a very eclectic mix of folks. 75% were probably who you would expect but the one lady that was there early grabbed the last 3 Donruss BKB blasters and she wasn’t who i expected (but not surprised entirely knowing my people )

You can buy in separate transactions at Target. I bought some one day and came back later to see what was left and bought 3 more.

What you want them to take selfie’s? No ones here is going to admit they probably look just like every one else standing in line. They’re BO members, they must be cooler.

Stereotyping to have soap/deodorant companies handing out samples?

It was a mix to me. Only 1 or 2 would fit that description, then you had young 20 somethings who probably know the hustle to flip for profit.

Then take into a wife and husband looking frantically at baseball cards not sure to buy them or not lol.

Langhorne PA was about 20 back around 7:30 (disturbing couple with a baby in stroller in front of me that spilled a giant canteen of coffee in the store in line all over). So slow, barely moved after 15 minutes based on the asinine distribution at the guest services, had to give up and go to work. YAY
