My first PSA order. When should I expect grades to pop?

10 days later, still no movement in QA2. I see this is not abmormal compared to others, but it is a bit frustrating to see inconsistencies including when I see regular orders move quicker than a 2 card express order.

Not sure how that works out! I'm in the same boat as I submitted two service levels (Regular + Express) together in one package.

Both arrived on 2/5. Got my grades back this morning for the Regular but the Express have been stuck in QA1 for the last week.

So my friend and I sent in our cards on the same day, received same day. Economy order- he got his shipped on Friday last week and mine has been languishing in assembly and qa2. He moved from qa1 to shipped in one day. I don’t think there is any rhyme or reason for much of the wait people are having at that stage. I don’t get it.

I have a Value Modern that was delivered just before the price increase in late February. My credit card on the order expires on 1/2023. I seriously want to put up a poll as to the over/under as to whether it will be back to me before I need to change the credit card. I'll start - I'm taking the over.

Yeah, you’ll need to update your credit card and I don’t think it’ll be close. I think they said they can grade 20,000 cards per day. That works out to 6.8 million cards per year based on 340 working days per year (being closed for 12 days for holidays), PSA’s backlog at the end of February was close to 8 million. So based on that your cards have a 14 month wait from date arrived, which would put your cards back to you around April/May. You know PSA will open up submissions for Regular/Express/Super+ in July and all of those submissions will jump line ahead of your cards adding to the turnaround time even further. Even with PSA adding capacity with more hires it won’t cut 3 months off your wait based on their current capacity vs their backlog.

My 10 card Regular order went from Assembly to in my hands in 48 hours. Yet here sits my easy 2 card Express order that I can almost guarantee has no upcharges. Definitely will never submit Express again unless the CTD shows a huge gap between the two levels.

I have an Economy, entered 10/7/20 that apparently moved into Assembly over the last few days. What steps after Grading do you get email notifications for? This is my first submission to PSA.
