He’d take his ball and go home but it got lost in the weeds.

Almost as bad as starting a thread about hot lesbian neighbors and then refusing to post pics

Don't lie. The ball never left his wife's purse

Some sad men consider any woman who won’t give them the time of day a lesbian.

Let's get back to talking cutting grass, shall we?

No one is mowing my cute Asian neighbor's lawn right now. Not her husband, not her boyfriend. It's just growing out like crazy!

Volleyball was cancelled last minute and I didn't want to waste such as a nice day Sunday so got the lawn mowed for a second time. My neighbor was attempting to mow as well and unfortunately her boyfriend got her a present and called her up and told her it was in the garage. It was a battery powered mower with a 13" mower deck. Had to stop every 20 minutes to recharge. She wasn't thrilled but I thought it was funny.

Was it an EGO? I was thinking about getting one but that would be a dealbreaker.

Gotta imagine the rest of the field is getting ignored also...

I doubt it. If I remember I'll ask next time I see her but it literally looked like a child's toy it was so small. It also cut like crap. Lawn was a bit long but I had zero issues mowing it.

I have my doubts how well even an expensive name brand one would cut in northern weather like ours. Where we might have to take 10 days off from mowing because it never gets a chance to dry out in between rainy days. I will say it was really quiet.

I was looking at getting an electric, cordless trimmer last year but chickened out and went with the gas powered Echo. I don't have time or patience to wait for batteries to recharge. Its why I use two impact drivers and a bunch of batteries.

I have the EGO trimmer and is boss level. I tend to agree on the mower, though. Not sure I would trust it for the heavy going in spring/early summer.

I walked past today en route to work and was scandalized by the sight of an untrimmed bush.

Did it last night. It was pretty high but looked damn good when I finished. Rained all morning but the sun is out now, hopefully it doesn't take off again.

I'm ab to pull the trigger on one of these:
  • LM2101 (Push, 5 Ah) - $399
  • LM2135SP (Self-Propelled, 7.5 Ah) - $599
Just not sure if I should go twin-blade or not.

I'd do the $599 one if it were me. I'm gonna squeeze another year out of the c.1995 Craftsman!

Did my first cut this past Sunday. Sort of slacked getting out this year but it’s looked stronger every season so we’re good. Neighbor thought they up’d me by getting out the day before but they only half hacked the front.

Had to break out the double stripe job for their enjoyment. Worked out great as I was able to weed/feed and bugbgone on Monday after work and it rained all through Tues/Wed. The old Toro 22 may have one more season left in it.

I am going to have to get the mowing deck back on the rider this year. I rebuilt the transaxle last year during covid and ended up just racing it around all year with my boy.

Looking forward to my mow tomorrow. Since I used the edger last week, I'll spend a lot more time with the trimmer and hand pulling some of the pieces that are in spots that are tough to get with the trimmer (fence posts, landscaping, etc)

Default Day 1 - No Gas

10:35:22 - 11:35:38 – Cut back + side yards and then blades come to a halt; however, battery conveniently still has enough juice to self-propel towards the house.

11:37:19 - 12:27:04 – Placed battery on charger, drank water and ate lunch.

12:29:44 - 13:02:16 – Cut front yard, swept sidewalks/neighbors driveway, cleaned mower and then stored in its upright position.

Saturday turned into a great day to mow. Got everything done that I was hoping.

Maybe the goats at Poo's place will get moving???

Heading out today for the second mow of the front and first mow of the back. I am the neighborhood disgrace right now but will change all that by dinnertime.
