Sounds like if he wants to play this year it’s in his best interests to settle the lawsuits now as the NFL won’t take any chances with the civil suits pending. On top of that it sounds like he would be to busy with court dates to actually play this year even if the league didn’t force him to sit. It’s messed up. Settle so you can play but the doubt will follow you your entire career or clear your name (if he truly is innocent) and most likely miss an entire season. I’m sure this is part of Buzbees strategy.

I’m not giving anyone any advice, just relaying the information that is already out there. This is what NFL insiders are saying. He’ll likely miss the season if he wants to fight it in court. If he settles the lawsuits before the season he’ll probably play (dependent on the possibility of suspension) but the shadow of doubt will follow him. I’m firmly in innocent before proven guilty camp and I’ve yet to see any hard evidence that makes me believe he’s guilty at this point. It’s mostly hearsay |

Season or not, there is no way he should settle, it is basically the no contest of civil court. That is if he truly is innocent, which so far from all I have seen, he is. I don't care what any NFL insider has to say. It is Deshaun that has to wear it for his life, not the "iNsIdErS". It's obvious you have never been accused of something you never did. I guess you really did it everytime. Wow. |

Man - I don't know about you guys, but how many of you guys have millions on the line. If I was Deshaun , even if I was 100% innocent - I may have to take the damn deal just to hurry and get my life back on track. I get there is pride and ego but there is also being reasonable and assessing the whole situation and balancing pro and cons and what ultimately is important to him. If he has to pay these people to let them all say nice things about him and put this crap to bed.. even if he is 100% innocent... You have to consider doing it. Otherwise, this get dragged out in a court where you only need 51% to lose. |

Either way he’s facing suspension. It is what it is. AB settled and got suspended. I’m Def keeping every option open even if it means settling which could be a sign that people look at you like you’re guilty. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

If deshaun was 100 percent innocent he would have nothing to worry about and he would have put this stuff to bed real quick. Instead he is another guy who thought he was above the law. I highly doubt he is playing in 2021 and just hope this all resolves by 2022. 2021 was going to be a bad year for the texans even with deshaun. Without him they should clinch the no 1 overall pick and then maybe deshaun gets his wish and is traded to a contending team in 2022 (washington perhaps? maybe miami if tua does not take a big step forward).

Sex Trafficking involves being forced or coerced. Watson and his attorney have already said it was all consensual. Even if he paid for their “services” they would have to prove that it was something they didn’t sign up for and were forced into. If all he did was have paid consensual sex (even if it was with 20+ women) he won’t (and shouldn’t) get more games than Greg Hardy for for beating and threatening to kill his gf. I’m guessing 4 games at the most. However if he did force these women to do something they didn’t want to do and is charged and convicted of sex trafficking he is done for good |

It’s equally condescending no matter what you identify as, which can be tricky when deciding how to condescend to someone on the interwebz. It just keeps it clean and straight forward. |

If you were having a conversation with a certain Pro Bowl cornerback I would find it acceptable.

I say 6-10 games minimum. Either way he's not going to come away unscathed. Heck I wonder how many teams view him as toxic goods already
