I opened two more from the secondary market and may be able to get $800 back from the $1600 cost so not every box is a winner and it is a gamble to open. Saw a tweet where someone hit two #1 base Hamiltons in one box. Definitely a product with monster hit potential and box prices will increase but someone could also lose lots of money chasing big hits.

So I just checked my account on topps and the day the Trevor Lawrence boxes went up for sale I also purchased women of Star Wars lot of 10 boxes. I just got a refund for my Star Wars purchase?? I wonder if this will be happening with the TL boxes???

I can assure everyone bad boxes are out there, but now 1 less!!!! Even got an extra “hit” and probably at best half of what a box is going for in return

Definitely bad F1 boxes out there, but I took one for the team. I'm betting 40-50 for the parallels total. Couple of keeper cards that I was going to get off Ebay and two nice Hamilton winners. It's pretty cool when a box has 2-3x resale value based on contents and is considered a dud.

Trevor Lawrence boxes showed up at the same time and played nice. I thought boxes with autos had parallels as well. Not complaining though. Super tempted to send this off for expensive PSA grading. It is definitely getting sold and I'll use the proceeds to buy a similar one /99. Not sure if it is worth the high grading cost or not.

My best 2 pulls were Verstappen base (didn’t realize he was selling that well) and leclerc base. 4 of my 5 hits are f2 drivers.

The TL boxes present an ethical quandary for me. I wanted an auto, so I bought 5 boxes. I hit the auto in the first box (didn't weigh, don't have that accurate of a scale, and don't think that would work as it didn't have a parallel). I'm not really interested in opening the other 4, but feel guilty selling them. They do still have the overall 1/5 odds though as it looks like some orders have been short autos at least. Has anyone hot two autos in a group of 5? I'd feel alright selling as normal if the auto placement is random, but don't want to knowingly sell duds. On the other hand, the odds are that there should be 2 parallels in those boxes. Should I list? List and disclose? Just rip them and save myself the question?

You are thinking too much. If you bought them to sell them, then sell them.

My opinion is that you're good to sell even without disclosing anything. Random is random, and seeing as you didn't weigh the boxes, the other 4 are still good in my mind. I would not be upset buying from someone who ordered 5 and randomly hit a good box in the one box that they opened, and I'm a stickler for fairness.

My "hits" were Vettell, Markelov, and Daruvala car cards anda gold Esteban Ocon base. I got Leclerc and Verstappen higher number other base cards and car cards that are keepers and a couple of Hamilton winners, but the rest was dreck. I had decided I wanted the second non-expensive base and car cards of Norris, Leclerc, Hamilton, and Verstappen so this got me halfway there.
