Oddly enough some people will pay the $50 for a base auto that will be $5 in a week simply because they can afford to.

On the reverse, someone on facebook is offering base sets for $25, delivered, and throwing in a Stellar 3 repro sketch card with each base set. Even the worst background character repro sketch should sell for $10, shipping and packaging has to be $5, so they'd only make $10 on a base set, it's nuts.

After several case breaks, still haven't seen these signers (plates excluded).

While it's easily assumed the big names are /5 and under, there's still a few "regulars" I'm shocked I haven't seen (bolded below).

Gina Carano seems to be the one outliere so far for the big/exciting names having /25 autos.

pretty typical for topps to put a character on a box and then SP the hell out of them. lol. i can understand the rest of the characters on the box, but Eckstein? Lets not forget when they put Hamill on the box of MW2018.

True.

IMHO they should never exceed /99 for any signer in any set. Obviously that’s cut production a ton, but resistance signers, on card, aren’t moving at $10 on eBay and now here’s a few hundred more that are stickers

Topps probably made a decision to SP Oola and Blakiston because they can be found in every other ROTJ BW. Not like the rest of the signers are anymore common, but Mon's card from ROTJ can be had for like a $1 plus shipping on ebay.

Did 3 more boxes, got 2 Leeanna Walsman as Zam Wesell base autos.

Thats 3 Leeanna out of 6 boxes now. Really really dislike when that happens.

The question is would that be more or less shady than the guy who was painting over sketches and then selling them?

Both would be bad, but at least the sketch guy has skills and made possible improvements, where removing a sticker auto is super dumb.

I'm not the biggest Star Wars fan, but I saw Topps had hobby boxes available on their site this morning. Bought 4 because Carrie Fisher (RIP) is an autograph subject in this set. These were long sold out at MSRP.

Vargaman's post makes me think I should rip all 4...

Topps had boxes of this for sale on their site late this afternoon for $55/box. Bought two. Was thinking of getting 12 to get a case but sold out by the time I decided.

FYI, Blowout has this 'on sale' from $199 to $149.

Can you let us know if you actually receive these boxes. A few of us bought these same boxes a few weeks ago and they were never sent out. Today we got notification that our money was refunded with no explanation.

Wasn't aware of that. Yeah I'll let you know if I do actually get them. I hope I do. I wanted to rip this when it initially came out but my LCS (who is really fair on prices especially SW) never got any in.

I grabbed 2 when Topps put them up last week and just got notified I was refunded by Topps.
