I’m guessing the bulk orders are not getting the new holders and they are giving all the new slabs to express orders.

That's not the issue people are mad about the issue is the first round of bulk is hitting it's originally stated turnaround time with no end in sight and people getting the run around

My PSA Express order at the time I sent in was like 20 days. The website did not say this level was expecting delays. A few days after my order was sent they were no longer honoring turnaround times. I will have 4 orders from CSG and 1 CGC back in my hand before my PSA order gets out of grading and was sent in 2 weeks before my CGS & CGC orders. I sent bulk orders in to CGC & CSG knowing they would be delays. I just can’t figure why the same anger is not directed at PSA. They were far from transparent and for all the people waiting like a year for their cards what have they done for you. If I owned that business, I would be telling people you will get some cards graded for free or at a greatly discounted rate at a later date.

I mean, shouldn't the turnaround time ON the day received be the turnaround time that applies to your order? Or at the very least from when they were "Scheduled for grading"? Now this guy is trying to tell me "oh, the current turnaround time is 75 days". It wasn't a month ago when you entered my cards into the system!

Also if you read CGC’s chat board in March bulk Pokémon were already backlogged. Not to hard to figure the sports cards would follow the same fate.

Personally I have cards at psa since September that are still in research but the anger stems from the fact I already paid CSG I haven't paid PSA

PSA is the king of grading and has the best ROI. That is why the same anger is not directed at them. SGC fell behind last year and people ripped them apart. CSG has dropped the ball here and things will get worse. They don't have the reputation on sports cards to have people accepting a 1 year bulk turnaround times. If you think there is anger directed towards CSG now, just wait a few weeks or months. It will be brutal.

I think with PSA people always knew the turnaround times and that PSA would get to them when they get to them. With CSG they are applying longer turnaround times in retrograde (?) or as an excuse for issues they are not being honest about. Just tell me "we decided to get nicer slabs and unfortunately they're taking longer than expected". Fine! Just don't BS me with new turnaround times. I'm pretty sure there were people who submitted economy orders very close in time to mine that have already received their orders, and I'm being told 75 business days.

I had orders held at CSG for 2-3 weeks that were paid for and waiting for the correct slabs. That did suck but I will have my 5th order back from CSG/CGC by next week and I’m still waiting on my PSA order that was sent 2-3 weeks before my first CSG order. Early on they were sending thick cards back ungraded, I’m glad they stopped doing that at least in my case.

I just got back into this, I had a store in the 90’s. I am getting some key cards from that time graded and selling them. I wanted turnaround and from a newer customer I find PSA times horrible and the way they have treated their customers no better. I have no infatuation with any of these grading companies.

Why would I be mad at PSA, my cards are sitting there but I have not been charged! CSG charged me over a month ago and now they are saying that it’s delayed until the end of May. So I’m out over $1000 for grading (paid April 1) and I won’t get the cards until maybe June..

huh? What does that have to do with CSG giving people the run around charging people and then making them wait 2+ months? Are you trying to equate PSA vouchers to bulk submission? Oh yea I had to pay to join CSG with no vouchers..

No, when I joined PSA I sent an Express order with the website stating I think it was 20 business days at the time. I went with express because the lower levels stated there were delays. About the time my order was delivered to PSA they were stating that now express orders were going to be delayed. At least with CSG they are hitting there turnaround times with my express and economy orders and a lot cheaper too.

Huh? When did PSA charge you? At the end.. CSG took my money and are filling other orders with these new slabs.. I’m out $1K and other people are getting these new slabs like yourself...

My orders with thick cards were delivered to CSG by 3/22. My last order I made sure had no thick cards. I sent that on 4/17 or 4/24, this order was shipped back to me today. 10 card Express with sub grades. Door to door in 4-5 weeks

The charging they do when the cards go to grading. They should change that. It should go to when they have them slabbed. Other than that I like what they are doing. They have hit their turnaround times, at least on my orders.

If you go on the forum on CSG's site there have been a lot of questions and vague answers from customer service there. From what I've gathered anything thicker than 35 pt is too thick for them right now. But they were supposed to get thicker holders in April and that still hasn't happened. I sent some 55 pt in my last order before the price increase and I just figured that they probably won't get to my order for at least 6 months and hopefully they have thicker holders by then

Seems like a ponzi scheme to me, use the money from the bulk orders to purchase the holders then give those to the express and just keep pushing back the bulk and charging to pay for the express holders. The hopefully get to the bulk one they have already more then doubled the turnaround time

Yea they definitely are using the slabs they order from bulk submissions on express orders. My issue is that they charged me in April and can’t give me any information on when they will be done. PSA does not charge you until the end, BGS charges you when grading begins (within 10 days of completion)

I’m guessing more and more bulk submitters will start to realize they are in the same boat, you assume that when you are charged that you are within a month of being completed

Definitely wouldn't surprise me if they start saying the bulk from months ago now fits under the turnaround currently posted like PSA did when I submitted my bulk there in September there was no notification of processing delays and my order didn't get received until January when I asked about this recently they said you chose to send that when we had a notification of 15 week processing times?
