I personally don't think there was ever such a thing as an "insane" Tatis price then or now. His first 173 MLB games(8.2 WAR) so far is one of, if not the best start to a career in baseball history. Combine that with him being the most marketable player, there's really no way the market can get too high if your time horizon is at least a year or two out(when it can dip and have time to come back up). Anyone who thinks the market was or is too hot doesn't realize the kind of talent they're witnessing.

Still think it could be a massive card, especially if transcendent sticks. Think about how many paper/chrome parallels there are. There’s literally 100 transcendent cards and that’s it! It’s high end, vertical, hitting. All the ingredients.

The transcendence and the reverence are two of my favorite cards and neither really get the love they deserve (in my opinion).

I think 1K raw right now is about the going rate. They scratch easy. I’ve owned 4 different copies and my 10 was the only one worth grading. The metal edges really get nicked, dented, and scratched super easy. If I had a raw left I’d offer it up here, but they have been traded/sold

From PSA pop reports it looks like most cards from the set grade at least a 9. Do you think it’s because the beat up ones don’t get sent in or they are more lenient grading due to the frequent knicks and scratches?

They are certainly more lenient for that card, or at least they used to be. I’ve owned 2 that wouldn’t 9.

Just because I described his market at the time as "insane" doesn't mean the market was too hot. People refer to his performance and talent as "insane" somewhat regularly. "Insane" is just a colloquialism. Anyone that doesn't understand that doesn't comprehend the reading they're doing.

It hasnt been a long time yet, but once it goes past 2 days (Bought Sunday night, no ship by mid-day wed) i begin to wait for the cancellation
