Agree! I don’t know anyone here who’s a bigger Trout Fan than Me, and I’ve never said a bad word about him - still won’t. However, if Tatis can even come close to matching his ( Trout’s ) stats, he clearly has a tool in his toolbox that Trout doesn’t, which can really elevate his Cards - charisma

I just got back my best 2 pack pulled 410's and both got 9's.( thought both would gem) My 3 Sotos also got 9's.( thought at least one would gem).

Aren’t those US50 really tough to gem? I think a lot had top edge issues, for instance?

Yes they are. I had an order similar to that back in early 2018 with those exact cards.

Yeah - I ripped a ton of 2017 Update looking for Judge. This was the "good" pile of US50's.

I just got back a 32 card sub today where only 14 gemmed - one of which was a surprise but the real horror was the amount of 9's.( 17 of them). If that sub had been done last year I'm certain I get a 20/32 gem rate and I'd have at least one 410 PSA10

If the next sub is similar - or God forbid - worse, I'll have to think very carefully about grading any more of my cards that are under $100 raw. I would've like to get my Ohtani Chrome cards graded but if the gem rate is going to be 35-40% instead of 70-75% no way. I'm peeved I didn't get into grading earlier. I busted a ton of wax in 2018 and have so much more I would like to grade from that year.

Continuity of consistency in grading is everything.

We were both late to the grading game for sure. Chasing Acuna and Soto has left me with over 50 Ohtani RC cards across many brands. If only we could both go back to 2018 and submit them in Bulk!!! OH WELL is right!
