This was a bigger dumpster fire than Top Shot of Topps NFT. Very poor communication from Panini about what this product even is let alone how many were available. What is the secondary marketplace to buy these on?

Says in this blog post that packs are limited and were pre-minted. Doesn't say how many though. I was able to get 1. Receipt says I am order #
184, but not sure if that correlates with anything.

Yeah just went back and looked it was order # 79 not pack #79. I fixed the post as well.

My friend show me his order page of 8 orders going thru with bots. So I think this is just a case of all the buy groups recommending to buy this.

We always complain about panini taking too much money but in this case, it seems they left so much money on the table

If they made this extremely limited it could help them. NFT's selling for huge money, making news, and drawing interest to their product.

So all this for $3,000? That's highly unlikely. I could be totally wrong but there's no way they did this for $3,000. lol

I am thinking with the website being overwhelmed they marked it as sold and will make an announcement later.

It’s definitely in their benefit to make it limited to drive up interest. $10 nft pack sells for $500 on after market. Will definitely make help them sell a lot more packs later. But 300 packs are a little too limited.

They're not trying to maximize money on "soft launch" preview packs. They're generating hype for the bigger releases.

However, it just may be 300 packs. It is their first release and they could be using this as a beta test for minting. Drawing interest is important to the product and they have multiple releases scheduled.

It's possible. Maybe they did this to create "hype" for all the future releases. There's a lot scheduled.

These packs could be worth a damn fortune. There may only be 300 packs. From the release, "All packs for this special preview launch have been pre-minted but due to the manual-distribution method that will be used for the Red Mosaic Preview launch as well as next week’s Green Ice Preview launch, packs purchased tomorrow will arrive in users’ Panini Blockchain accounts on Friday and users will be notified of delivery by email."

They are manual-distributing these and are keeping them extremely limited for this. To anyone who got in your $10 pack may be worth an insane amount. My advice is DON'T OPEN!!!! "One important thing to note about the Panini Blockchain platform: In the near future, users will have the opportunity to sell unopened packs that they’ve purchased; something to keep in mind for those deciding whether or not to open packs once they start being delivered."

I guess they didn't make them out of /40,000, but out of /3. If they only made 300 packs, next weeks stress test may bring down the entire internet

I'm sure Panini is hoping these packs sell for $500 on the platform (secondary market). They take 10% of all sales as a commission/handling fee
