Trying to imagine what D Wade is saying here...

"Spida...they're collapsing. He can't guard you. Just take it to the rack everytime."

"I gotchu"

Didn’t go to sleep until 1 AM last night I was so hyped. Mitchell is a SUPERSTAR. His card prices are rising when almost every other current modern star’s cards are falling.

I have never enjoyed watching one player before like I enjoy watching Spida. Top-5 all time with Jordan, Iverson, Durant and LeBron in average PPG in the playoffs with a minimum of 25 games played.

If you have anything to add to it I would greatly appreciate it!

I’m sick to my stomach over the Jazz.. but it was a hell of a season for Donovan Mitchell.

These playoffs showed everyone he is a true superstar, for anyone who foolishly still had any doubts.

Got robbed of All-NBA team too.. it’s ok, he’ll be making plenty of those in the future.

Hope he is able to let the ankle heal up in time for the Olympics. Would love to see Spida wearing the Red, White & Blue and come home with the gold.

I’m going to be sick for a few weeks but I can’t wait until next season. Hopefully they can add some guys that don’t shrink when it matters. This dude gave his all on a bad ankle.

Agreed. He did all you can ask and then some. Inexcusable to lose when up 25. Winning teams don’t do that when it matters.

Mitchell and Zion were the two guys I tuned into watch all year. I absolutely love watching Spida play. This series, the Clips made adjustments and the Jazz didn’t. It’s simple as that. Tonight we also witnessed the competitor that Mitchell is once again, dropping 39 and almost had a triple double on a bad ankle.

Dude has heart and a heck of a lot of talent. It’s early in his career, but I see future HOF written all over him. You can quote me on that. Thanks for a great year D Mitch!

A special player Mitchell, no doubt. I will never forget his rookie playoff run vs the Thunder...

Might be time to gauge interest on Gobert. A valuable defender for sure but I think its fair to question his mentality when the stakes elevate. Intriguing value can be obtained in return for that absolute monstrosity of a contract.

Porzingis for Gobert

I heard Gobert was the most valuable guy on the team.

Poor Mitchell with no help.

I thought of a 3 team trade to help the Jazz if Mitchell and Gobert's relationship is as fractured as reported.

Jazz trade Gobert
Mavs trade Porzingis
Hornets trade Hayward + PJ + 2022 1st Round Pick

Jazz receive Porzingis + 1st Round Pick
Mavs receive Hayward + PJ Washington
Hornets receive Gobert

Feel like Hornets have to trade out more assets since Hayward is a lesser/more injury prone player.

Jazz lineup: Conley/Mitchell/Ingles/Bogdanovic/Porzingis

Mavs lineup: Luka/THJ/Hayward/PJ Washington/Free Agent/Trade for Center

Hornets lineup: Rozier/Graham/Ball/Bridges/Gobert

Jazz desperately need what Gobert gives them. We are seeing knee jerk reactions from a game where the Clips perimeter game torched them, but Rudy can’t guard everyone. They need better defense on the wing and more importantly, to make adjustments. Wayyyyy too many open shots were given up. Utah’s defense throughout the year was actually quality, but they clearly got exposed by LA.

If I were Utah, I would look to add someone with length, some offensive capability, but also the lateral quickness to defend on the perimeter. Utah has an embarrassment of riches with guards and shooters and they will probably have to move at least one to obtain what they need.

Mitchell is the cornerstone of the offense and Gobert anchors the defense in the paint and kills it on the glass. Those two are absolutely essential. Every other piece would be worth looking at as a trade asset in order to address deficiencies to become a title contender.

The Jazz are closer than people think, but they must be willing to evolve and adapt.

Gobert will help you win regular season games and DPOY awards but is going to get repeatedly exposed in the playoffs. Go small and he becomes a liability out there.

"Evolve and adapt" might mean getting out of the comfort zone and getting rid of Gobert and getting more guys who can guard their position better.

The issue with Gobert is that they don't have the team around him to guard the perimeter.

Royce O'neale is not a great defender
Joe Ingles is me if I were 6'8"
Mitchell is too small to be a defensive point guard
Conley can defend when healthy, but is only 6'1" and already 33.

That's why this team isn't built to win in the playoffs and thinking that they had a chance was a pipe dream.

The Jazz have gone the defender route as well with Rubio/Crowder instead of Conley/Bogdanovic and that didn’t work out either. The reality is the ceiling is capped when Gobert is eating 1/3 of your salary cap.

Spida Mail Day!

My favorite Revolution parallel of one of my favorite players. Had a raw for a while, but stoked to upgrade to a PSA 9. I wanted a Zion as well and then my bank account reminded me that I’m a teacher and should probably opt for something cheaper.

So sweet! That’s my favorite Revolution parallel even over the galactics. #’d /100 is the perfect rarity. Still need to grab a Spida one day.

His prices saw a nice steady rise while everyone else’s dropped. So it’s been slow for me lately. Hoping off-season brings prices down just a little.

Thanks man! It’s hard to find a copy in mint or better. I was wanting to upgrade for a while, but never got a chance. I’ve been watching a bunch of his stuff hoping for a lull in the action and haven’t seen it yet. It will happen though because people have very short memories.

D Mitch is on an insane career trajectory and it’s funny how it seems there are only a handful of us on here who realize it. The market actually seems to understand it a bit more than BO at the moment.

Good luck brother! I’ve only seen one 10 and two 9.5’s pop up on eBay in the past two years. This one looks like a great candidate though
