Haha yeah, this was the worst I've pulled so far. Just thankful it wasn't a big-name or PC card.

I've been trying to imagine what about the manufacturing process is causing this. Would love to get on the production line and root cause it.

Yes both the Sargent and Moukoko have exactly that issue. Disappointing for sure cause the color match on the Moukoko is awesome looking.

And being an OPS manager in a production facility I agree with wanting to RC it. I’m sure the issue could be identified extremely quick if their QC department did any kind of good inspection of the final product. It’s obvious on all ones I’ve seen in hand and on eBay. Disappointing for such a prestigious brand/sub brand in Topps and Sapphire

Haha speaking my language. Definitely disappointing that this can't be corrected and has been persisting across so many releases.

But still really awesome pulls, the Moukoko on-color is amazing.

I received an email from DE that the boxes shipped. I then went into my orders and clicked on tracking and the number does show now. It did not show up before the email was sent even though the order was completed.

Did you reach out to them at all before your shipped? Or did you just wait it out?

My account shows a DHL tracking number but no actual movement yet and no email. I don’t think you need to email them to get your boxes shipped.

Topps DE are really struggling with all the international interest. Eighteen days and nothing, meanwhile my Bowman Sapphire arrives from Topps US to the UK in six days.

I know it's frustrating for everyone... but you are buying cards off of a German website expecting them to be shipped to America. Things are a little weird normally. Add in COVID and border stuff and it gets weirder. 99% of the time it will EVENTUALLY make it. You hear about stories where it doesn't - but you don't hear of too many. And people LOVE to complain when things don't work so you'll usually hear about it. It's like good rips... people love to show pictures of huge hits. They show the bad boxes a lot less often on Insta.

If you haven't already and are US based, go to USPS and sign up for Informed Delivery. I don't think it costs anything (I don't completely remember but don't recall any subscription costs coming out of my bank, so I assume it's nothing). It's not perfect but I see packages and it tracks US based stuff quite well. For international, it's a bit more hit and miss depending on what carrier ends up getting it, but I DO see the origin from most of the stuff I get from Europe.

I can see in this case my DE boxes were processed through Frankfurt on June 22 (last update). I'll get them sometime in the next month. Hopefully. But they'll come. They always have for me.

Still have not received my one box of UEFA Museum ordered on April 22 from DE and appeared to be lost but just checked and now looks like it is Memphis. So hopefully this week. So yeah, could be waiting some time for these Sapphire boxes. Maybe prices will go up a bit like the UEFA Sapphires (no chance).

It's very hard to not come to the conclusion YayNJ did, cards are genuinely very nice in hand, but this really is a boom or bust product, any of Bellingham,Moukoko,Haaland,Wirtz will be a big hit, but outside of that you'd really struggle to get close to £50 back.

Hopefully if it went down to near £125 I'd grab another box, but the £175 is a bit too much for me to go straight back for more.

My boxes finally moved from Topps Germany. This after numerous emails. Might have to rip some if price keeps dropping.

Just ripped my box that came in yesterday—did well! Both Bellingham’s from the same pack too

The Bellingham green has the same issue on the back that it seems like all parallels do but still happy overall. I’m sure this has been brought up already somewhere, but have people considered reaching out to Topps about the QC issues for replacements?
