The emotional roller coaster of seeing Platman had an announcement post and thinking it was for a Tatis offering, only for it to be Nola and Pedroia. Haha.

I was thinking the other day that it’s been a while since we had a nice dual auto...

it’s nice to have more autos available today and it’s obvious that Tatis has no Topps contract right now to release autos but if there was ever a time to have a dual auto card of Tatis Jr. and Guerrero Jr., both reaching MLB leading 25 HR’s last night, (Topps) NOW was that moment.

Yeah, even if Tatis isn’t under an auto contract, last night still would’ve been perfect for a non auto relic card. Those are sometimes preferable to me anyways as they are usually a quick turnaround in getting made and shipped out.

Nolan Arenado hits his 250th career homer and doesn't get a card.

Meanwhile Ohtani hits a meaningless leadoff homer and gets a card.

This is why my buying of these has dropped off sharply this season.

Ohtani has a massive deal with Topps. They are going to milk that for everything.

As a casual fan of Vlad the Impaler, I might actually try for a dual auto.

But I'm betting it'll be cost-prohibitive, plus I'm rarely in time for the hot autos.

This is one of the few cards where I'd say the purple looks good. I'm assuming the Platinum crew usually says no since it's not usually worth the premium vs. blue, but I for one am happy to have pulled the trigger on a purple.
