Probably will at least a game. Giannis was suspended the first game of the next season after decking Dunleavy in a playoff elimination game.

IMO.. the real story lies somewhere in the middle

And the last of the so-called "superteams" is dead....none of them made the Finals.

Also note that if the Hawks make the Finals, it would be the first Finals in recent memory in which neither team made the playoffs the previous year.

I’m happy for chris Paul, as much as he flips he is a damn good player and deserves his time in the spotlight and a chance to play for a chip.

But I’m really happy about is Frank the Tank get a chance for a Chip! Lol

Man I am so happy for the Phoenix Suns. It's just a great story and even though I'm an Eastern Conference fan through-and-through I am 100% behind these guys. 10+ years of misery and on a return trip they could (and should) win a title. That's amazing stuff.

Not to mention what Monty has had to go through. He deserves this as well.

Yup. I was sitting there thinking about how bittersweet it must be for him.

Talk about mental toughness. Monty seems to be a special kind of person.

No way this Bucks squad even with healthy Giannis is favored over the Suns in the Finals. Suns have decimated their opponents in these playoffs, had the better record in the regular season and came out of the West.

They'll be the favorites against whoever they play no matter the circumstances and deservedly so.

Unless the whole team gets COVID in the interim or something crazy (Only putting that asterisk in here bc that would be pretty fitting in this postseason).

Milwaukee was the betting favorite in Vegas to win the Finals by a pretty big margin about a week ago. It's too bad Giannis got hurt cause Bucks/Suns would have been an entertaining and close series IMO, but I think Phoenix should handle either team decently easy at this point.

Yeah that's what I saw also.

Bucks have been the clear fave until the Giannis injury..

Giannis was the clear fave for Finals MVP too.

Now I don't even grt any odds on the sportsbet site I use..

Holy hell.

Just took another look.

Phoenix are now $1.40 for the title. That is crazy short.

If I've learned anything these Playoffs it's that the favorite will not win the title. It's a curse.

agreed.

but with Giannis out, i think the Hawks are the favorite now to win the East.

Is anyone more unlikable that Patrick Beverly, in basketball at least? What an a hole move that was last night. Hope he gets a massive suspension. He really could have hurt CP3s neck or back with that push. What a loser.

I am sure CP3 said something as he passed by, but Beverleys reaction completely justifies why CP3 said whatever he said. Beverley transcends simply being an unlikable player to being an genuine unlikable person.

Couldnt be happier for Chris Paul... finally has an opportunity to play in an NBA finals.

I just booked a hotel and will not miss this chance to see one of my all time favorite players on the biggest stages of the year.

Hopefully ticket prices arent insane... fingers crossed!

Judging from the replay they showed last night, I didn't see CP3 say anything when he walked by. He did stare at Beverly and maybe he said something earlier, but I agree with others. Beverly should be suspended to start next season.
