Hard to believe, but Topps NFTs blowing up now. Some dudes are buying up the Ohtanis and other cards. Very interesting how it can happen after so many weeks of non-communication from Topps and nothing going on.

Bazooka Joe was initially announced to go to Avalanche, hence the speculation on the platform.

It has been radio silence now for more than a month on the MLB NFTs. Nobody really knows, but with Candy there's now competition.

I sold some of the ones I was going to hold onto--accumulating some WAX at this low was too attractive to pass up and was able to double what I paid for an Ohtani SP back during the peak ($ value, WAX value 250%). I'm concerned about the lack of new drops and that was a factor as well.

With Topps going public, and being in the middle of that process, there's a lot of speculation that that's the hold-up on new announcements.

There's still a bunch of deals to be had. I think I talked about Devers in this thread - I was buying his base at 15-20 wax and he's up to 50 wax now. And I think 50 is still cheap. Vladdy is 1/3rd the price of Ohtani right now, etc. Lots of deals out there.

Nice - What mint number did you get Justin ?

Looked like all 70 had been unboxed for quite some time, unless I'm not understanding the max supply

This was opened a several weeks back when I was bored one day and had a few packs left that were unopened. Just posted on B.O. today with Ohtani blowing up. Mint is #56

So far it doesn't look like they're moving fast.

As of right now, only 1,755 standard packs out of 29,900 have sold. For the premiums, 1,785 of 14,900 have sold.

Still on the fence about picking up a couple $5 packs though.

I’m a little confused about the set.

Pretty dead in that marketplace

When I tried to add my bank account info so I can sell there they said that my bank isn’t usable yet. So I can’t sell my NFTs

I'm still bullish on Topps NFTs, haven't converted any WAX to dollars and am 100% invested ATM in NFTs not holding any WAX either. Volume has been tailing off significantly over the last week or so which is a little concerning, but I believe in the platform long term so am waiting on increased liquidity before I start trading in and out of players again. I like my bets mostly and am content to let them ride.

Premium packs have great long term potential too methinks.

Standard packs aren't junk at all, good stuff can come out of them. If say they are priced correctly compared to premiums based on hit potential and my guess is they will perform similarly from here.
