Well Silva actually outright refused to be drug tested which resulted in a lifetime ban; something Henderson never did…so yes one would assume he was trying to hide something.

i’m gonna let you in on a little secret my friend… they were all juiced in pride… all of them. wandy, cro cop, fedor, coleman, rampage, arona… all of them. yes even your precious hendo lol.nobody was getting tested over there. it was not in sakikabara’s interest and the japanese fans didn’t attach the same stigma to pe’s that we do in the states.

when he came back to the states he did it “legally” through the TUE. That whole team quest juiced. randy, chael, leben and yes dan.

Conor is not a saint... he looked high on blow the whole lead up to this fight. Conor is a piece of trash human being and is this MMA generation's BJ Penn.

As for Dan, if steroids and TRT are his only knock against him... I okay with me... as you said, everyone was on roids. He was an Olympian and had his first UFC fight at 17... accomplished so much and had so many awesome fights.

The fickle casual fans who think Conor started MMA may still hold some sort of fandom later on.... But Dan's legacy to any MMA die hard destroys McG.

BJ was up there with Fedor and GSP as my favorite fighters of that era. Now BJ definitely didn’t train like modern athletes do, he was more of a show up to the fight and “Just Scrap” kind of guy. What he had in common with Connor is he was about as dangerous a 1 round fighter as there was. After that his cardio failed him. After the fact some of the more disturbing outside the ring things came to light. He was as gifted as any fighter ever, just not dedicated to being the best he could be. relied on natural gifts.

Dan was a nice fighter, had a great run in Pride and was a top 10-15 guy of all time. Wicked right hand, but bizarrely was a fairly poor mma wrestler for the amateur credentials he had. Got taken down constantly, see when Jake Shields wrestle @“$’ed him for 5 rounds. Then he had this miraculous run in his late 30’s that was pretty much unheard of for anyone that age outside maybe Handy that propelled him into the GOAT conversation. Then the whole TUE thing came to light for a lot of fighters and he fell off the cliff and retired.
