Thanks. They're 199. Jeter 170, Torre and Dawson 124.99.

Ok cards today.

The Acuna is nice, I'd say an above-average Lauren Taylor offering.

The Jeter is plain to me, but not objectionable. Will purchase to continue my Infinite Archives set.

The Dawson is intriguing. Looks like it's "Dawsom" though. The Hawk HBCU patch is a nice touch. Might get.

Joe Torre, no.

2.5-4 today, depends on the Dawson.

Admittedly I wasn't a fan of Project 2020 nor a fan of Project70. But a couple of the artists were set up at they Hyatt after the show on Thursday night and got to spend quite a bit of time with Lauren Taylor. While everyone has their taste, mine is more traditional and her renditions are more my speed.

Outside of beautiful artwork, what an amazing young lady she is. She spent a lot of time telling us about her personal struggles as well as many stories of meeting players and stories behind individual cards she has created. Just a very likable person and was a pleasure getting to spend the time talking to her.

So I while I was there, I picked up her Trout that she signed and #'d 1/25 and her Gerhig she signed #'d 1/25. I really have no idea what the value of these cards are but they are neat to have. She and I discussed the Artist Proof cards that are /51 and don't understand the value on those as she explained she has nothing to do with those and they aren't even signed by the artist.

Anyway, it was a fun experience and happy I was wandering around the lobby(coming from the bar) when they were setting up. I'm for sure hanging on to the Gehrig as I really love that one. The Trout I picked up because, well, it's Trout.

The AP's are the same as the gold border 1/1, it shouldn't be called an AP, it should be called silver frame edition.

Ahhh, I got you. Thank you for the clarification. They AP's are just basically a parallel.

I mean this is just my opinion but as far as I know nothing about these is an AP so I just consider them silver frame editions.

Has Joshua Vides NEVER watched someone take off their baseball cap? The action lines on Joe Torre are all wrong.

I kid, I kid. I kind of like the Jeter, and I love the Acuna.

The Vides and MIMSBANDZ are in line with their set (and aren't really for me), but I'm still loving seeing new art/cards every day!

Way to be positive!

Lauren Taylor and MIMSBANDZ are nice as usually. At this point I assume Vides submitted all his cards months ago and never looked back.

Those are art lines, not action lines.

Any day with at least one HOF/legend that hasn't been in the set yet is a good day for me, so I welcome the Andre Dawson card. I know the call continues for Frank Robinson, but I would be just as happy with Willie Stargell, Dave Winfield, Tony Perez or even Dave Parker. Even as a Red Sox fan, I like the Jeter card - I have gained a new appreciation for the 1990 Topps design this year with so many artists using it, until now I never thought much of it other than how much I hate the color scheme on the traded set from that year where every card had that same bright red/blue/yellow/green/orange that deviated so much from the base set with just a two to three color scheme on each card. Acuna's 11th card moves him into a tie with Trout for 4th most behind Mantle, Betts and Tatis Jr. We also get our first 10th card of an artist with the Vides Torre. Overall I think a pretty interesting day.

the Acuna is nice, but too much empty space on the card. i feel like it needs another drawing or something under his arm, but overall, still a nice card.

I like the empty space.

To me the card doesn’t need the additional embedded pictures - just the main image with the bursts of color go really well with the name typography.

Will they fix his last name on the final card? I assume so

Acuna has signed a lot but this Acuna is primed for his auto. I may get one just hoping for an online signing opportunity someday.
