Anyone else rooting against the Lakers and Nets ?

Anyone else rooting against the Lakers and Nets ? The NBA is becoming a joke, literally with players / teams trying to buy championships.

Lebron and KD / Kyrie's legacies should both be stained for just chasing rings with 3-4 other all stars.

If anything this makes me root for every other team to win it in 2022.

Much more respect for Jordan, Duncan, Bird, Magic, Curry, Giannis and others that win rings building a real team than jumping to other teams to chase rings.

Will be rooting for the Warriors and Bucks this upcoming year, and of course the Mavs but that's like playing the lottery and hoping you'll be the mega millions winner.

Lakers roster is ridiculous deep. Westbrook alone with some shooters can get you to 8-9spot. They could literally rest AD all season so he doesnt get injured.

At this point the most healthy thing would be to expand the league to 32-35 teams. To much Big3 around the league. Heck we are starting to see Big4

I don't really root for any team but I am a Spurs fan.

Other than that I hope the older players gets to win a championship before they retire. Younger players have more time and chances to get a ring.

But in this case as the OP puts it, I'd rather Carmelo gets the ring with the Lakers.

Can you expand on this? How are the Lakers ridiculous deep? A roster full of 32-37 year olds with a couple young guys sprinkled in? The guys they picked up did shoot over 40% last year but that won’t translate to this team necessarily. There’s no defense on this team either. I’m not sold

Lol if they shot over 40% from 3 on their garbage teams, they’ll shoot that or better on this team, when lebron, Davis, nunn, Westbrook are driving the lane. Their pickups today are good complimentaries.

AD is the only guy in his prime.

Lebron will be 37.
Westbrook will be 33.
Carmelo is already 37.

See 1997-99 Rockets for the probable results of this team. They are OLD.

I am fully against either of those teams winning. And the 76ers, purely because of Gomiamigo.

Subject to how fans of the teams act, I am happy for any other team to win - with preferences on some more than others.

I kind of like it. The last decade or so had been like 1 super team winning. Now we get several competing against each other and also several more teams that seem well built and will compete.

Fans will tune in the see the win or lose. Fun for everyone including the league
