Nope! You attach the debit red card to your bank account and it pulls from there when items ship. No preloading money on anything.

The main thing is they can check out faster than you can manually, but yes they are running multiple red cards. Many people still hit manual today.

I finally got 3 Basketball Megas. First time I have gotten anything that good on Target and have had a Red Card for over 6 years. I have been trying since they started selling this stuff online, and only get the scraps, last week I was surprised to get Draft Prizm, but thrilled to get this overprinted basketball that will be worthless in 5 years! Yes it was manual and actually needed to login. They were showing in stock for a full 5 minutes as I texted my buddy to get some, which he did. Around the 5 minute mark it said "only 3 left" then sold out after that. I can't believe anyone here that was online within those 5 minutes didn't get any.

What are you a lobbyist working on behalf of bots or something?
Obviously the bots take 75% of the inventory and then, yes, the manual customers get to fight over 25% of it thus perhaps having 20% of manual customers be successful and 80% not. If the bots did not start by taking 75% of the inventory off the top then the battle between manual customers would not be as important.
Not sure how else to break this down in a more simple format for you.

i’m not sure what you want them to do about someone who can order faster than you. demand exceeds supply. you aren’t guaranteed to get product just because target made it for sale.

Far from a bot supporter, but I’m happy with what target is doing so the bitch fest every week from people who don’t hit gets old.

instead of bitching about target why don’t you try bitching about walmart where no manual user ever hits anything? Seems like this just boils down to you didn’t get what you wanted.

They were actually in stock for around 10 seconds. The page showed in stock for probably 5-15 minutes. Today was probably the last day for manual in my opinion unless something changes. I've been seeing botters buying "target accounts with history on it" for weeks now and today I think we hit the tipping point where bots triumph over humans again

The person who said on a 10k stock, that's only 3,333 orders was correct. The pre-teen streamer kid somebody mentioned a couple pages ago had well over 2k viewers today trying when target started loading. He's not even a real streamer (no setup or schtick yet outside of incessantly blasting discord memberships to idiots), he just happens to be the only one that streams on youtube instead of twitch for some reason. Basic math says it's rough out there on competition to inventory and then combine bots are eating more and more every week...not good

I grabbed (3) Prizm Megas for the first time on my new Red Card. When I added them to my cart the first time I got to check out and it said too many people were checking out at once. I thought I had lost them and I try to re-add and buy for the next 5 minutes.

However, then I noticed I got an email stating the purchase had gone through and now they are showing up in my app as well. So check your purchase history you may have made it through some how like I did.

They could make it so something in your cart can't disappear without giving you a couple minutes to check out, for starters.

yep. it’s a constant cat and mouse game. for 3 weeks target got the upper hand and thankfully it was when they dropped the best retail product. the timing of megas dropping so late very well may have been intentionally timed with them introducing red card limit.

Bot users will always adapt. If the game is now get many red cards running, that’s what they’ll do. Target will still have to try to figure out how to stop botted accounts in the long run, they can’t rely on making you use a certain card.

Monitors didn’t pick up stock today, but rumor is 7k boxes, so that didn’t help perception this week.

I guess how do you know you were the only person with it in your cart. thousands of people got that far. I guess they could throttle it at add to cart and not checkout but the result is the same.
