Rookie patches are never "game worn" in NT. They're usually "Player worn" at the rookie photoshoot. This year they're not even going to be that.

The value is there. Just not sure about the rookie class. Everything in NT is trash except the RPAs. But the RPAs are the most sought after card in the entire hobby. Guaranteed RPA in a box essentially makes these worth 2 hobby boxes. Just look at pricing of previous years FOTL vs. Hobby boxes.

Bought one at $3875. Always loved the NT brand and this is the first time I'm purchasing. Hopefully I'm lucky enough to get a few hits to cover the box cost.

Saved me from having to buy 2 at the floor. Already regret the NT Football FOTL boxes I bought at the sell out price several months ago. Virtually everything 2020 football outsells 2020-21 basketball right now. NT Football FOTL can be had for $4500 a box. 2017-18 NT FOTL with a way better class, product released 3 years ago, and not many boxes left sells for $8,000-$8,500. How is this product with this class going to hit anywhere near that? Probably your best chance is if Lamelo has live autos and people don't care that they look fake. Could possibly sell right away and make $1,000 or so.

Almost bought a box at $3875. Just didn't feel comfortable about putting so much money into this draft class. There'll still be chase cards and I can see the short-term resale value being good (for sealed) but hesitated as it would've been a long-term play (and I'm more interested in liquidity).

These boxes should be worth about 2-2.5x a Hobby box. I see these settling at about $5-6k and Hobby at about $2500. Congrats to anyone who got some anywhere near the bottom.

Yeah 18-19 and 19-20 are sky high because of Luka, Trae, Zion, and Morant. Potential generational players. 17-18 has Mitchell and Tatum. Odds are no one from 2020-21 will be that good. 17-18 sells for $8,000-$8,500 a box. Again odds are your best chance is Lamelo has live autos and people don't care if they are fake. Can make out decent on a short term flip. No way is this something I would feel great about holding long term. 2020 football is still red hot compared to 2020-21 basketball. You can get a 2020 NT football FOTL box for around $4,500.
