Would you all consider a Luka Prizm Silver RC BGS with quad 9.5s better or equal to a PSA 10? In my opinion the BGS true gem would be better. Especially since a lot of PSA 10s are clearly off-center.

Nope. PSA is better. But if you like the BGS more, you should buy it and save some money.

Price-wise, it's not even close to equal and you know this. If it's just for your PC, go for it.

He’s Luka Doncic, he should have closed it out - at the very least crashed the boards in which case he would have had a chance to retrieve the ball after the block and get one more shot off. He #@#@#@#@ed up - plain and simple - and it sucks

Yea that’s not what I was responding to. Not gonna say he Fd up tho. Watching him play hero ball is fun but Vince Carter said almost immediately that he made the correct decision. It was a great defensive play by Batum

I watched that last play over a dozen times and i don’t agree. This is Luka Doncic we are talking about. He drives and makes plays, which is what he should have done - aggressively. I think he passed to early and to a guy who wasn’t even open. I think this is going to haunt him for a long time. This was a golden opportunity bc who knows what the Slovenian Olympic talent pool will look like in four years.

Having said all of this, this really is about the difference between the silver and bronze. No realistic person would rationally expect Slovenia to beat the USA (no matter how much i would have shamefully loved this!)

He was being doubled by Gobert (3x NBA defensive player of the year) and Batum. Sure, he could've tried to split Batum and Gobert but that likely ends in a kickout to #7 for a 3 because both Gobert and Batum are lanky dudes who would've given Luka issues in the lane. Not sure that's any better than what they got.

Maayyyyee he splits and throws a lob over Luwawu but that's a risky play.

It's really OK to say Luka made the right play and it didn't work out. Sure it would've been cool for him to attempt a step back 3 from 40 ft with Gobert and Batum guarding him - but that's a terrible shot in comparison to passing to the guy who's open because his man is guarding Luka. Just turns out that #7 is super slow and the speed of the NBA (Batum) won in this case.

I think you're absolutely right. It was just a GREAT block at the end.

That’s a healthy bump from $12k for a 8.5 a month ago, and $20k for the /25. Realistic market on these is probably closer to low 20s

Probably a little, as well as people not liking 8.5s, even though the average of the subs were the same as the 9. I mean, the recent sale was not a great looking patch either, even if technically it is 2 color and has some stitching. I think the biggest factor on the previous sale was the timing. Week of May 23 and week of June 20 were the crazy PWCC auctions that temporarily tanked the market because there was simply too much for the market to absorb at once. I want to say just in the June auction I counted close to 300 Lukas that all ended in a 24 hour period. So, people being drained of cash and exhausted let stuff like that fly under the radar. I still think $27k is a bit of an overpay, but after getting killed in the last 2 months of auctions, I think a lot of people are holding tight to their SPs and buyers are going to have to start paying up to get them. I get 10 messages a week now asking for SPs “at comps” of stuff that sold a month ago / misspelled listings / etc
