So if I'm reading the checklist correctly, the only patch autos are Messi? Isn't the whole purpose of Inception the patch autos? lol

I picked a up a couple. Not many products this year with an auto list like this at this price, I'm a little sceptical that there will actually be individual Messi and Ronaldo autos /99 & /49 but who knows.

If Topps had a Soccer club, this would have been a nice pre-sale exclusive. Bots are on to this now so probably going to be hard to get if it goes live on the US site.

I'm hoping Topps starts a soccer Monty club. Bots are on to basically every major soccer release. It's pretty much impossible to manual Merlin blasters/UEFA Mega's.

Missed out on this as I was out when the notification dropped and missed it by twenty minutes.

Nice to see a retail product at a good price point again, Mental to think you could have got three boxes at this at retail and have £10 left over compared to a Topps Chrome or Topps finest.

Bots buying up everything in sight is usually a pretty good sign that the market is overheated.....

I'm not buying anything until possibly WC2022 products (depending on their design & price).

didn't even know this was going to be dropping, saw one of the bot groups claiming major success on selling this stuff out on twitter today. claiming great resale already pumping the prices up......

hopefully we see a separate US release

People paying $350-400 a box for this have lost their damn minds. If you got any from Topps, sell immediately and rebuy when boxes are at half the current going rate.

Yes I have and there is nothing there that supports it being a winner at $150 even. You will see once the breaks start coming, 95%+ of the boxes will have 5 worthless base cards, a $5 parallel, and a $10 auto. It's the tried and true Inception format. It's arguably the worst value product in all of baseball, so unless they did something completely unexpected, it will likely be the same for soccer.

We're at the stage where people have been smashed in the face with such absurd prices, $150 suddenly feels "cheap".

It's not, and awful value.

Guess we’ll see where it ends up. Do have to agree with the poster above that it’s bad when $150 a box seems so cheap but it’s the times we are in. That could be clouding my perspective a bit too I guess.

Very strong checklist. Snagged one at $150. The flip at $400 is definitely tempting but I'm definitely ripping because that's what the hobby is all about (to me).

Loved seeing the US shipping also. Speed is key.

I hope this means that cards were printed in US and the quality is good. I would be skeptical if printed in Italy with the mess of the quality from previous releases, especially with these cards being much thicker.

The names on the auto checklist matter very little, it's the insertion rate that matters. Topps and Panini put so few of the top autos in that they add virtually nothing to the actual value of the product. It's a marketing trick they lean very heavily on.

That's the million $ question. According to the checklist there are 189 solo autos of Messi (plus 41 patch autos), Ronaldo (plus 6 SP variations) and Haaland which would be more than most other recent products, even the 41 dual Messi and Ronaldo autos seems a bit generous based on their recent output. I'm still a bit sceptical and won't believe it until I see the /99 in the wild.

I flipped the two I was able to get. Seems like a fun product but there is a 0.1% chance I would get close to $400 in value back on these. Good luck to those that open and I wish you find a Messi/Ronaldo dual auto!
