Should be a good buy I think? I figure it'll sell.

Also, been out most of the day and not monitoring. Are public gallery offers now retractable? I had $110 offers on 2 of my McGregor Octagonsides that were made today in the Gallery and they're now back down to $50 and $55.

Still can’t list. I jinxed myself yesterday when I said I hadn’t had to wait more than 12 hours.

Honestly I wouldn't even be upset if I couldn't list. Not much is moving and it's causing some pretty generous asks. Probably way better to just post anything relevant in the public gallery.

The Panini NFT experience.

Just gets worse by the day. Not putting any more money into anything. NBA prices are a joke (cards $3 and under are basically free after fees) and interest continues to dwindle. Project basically died before it even developed.

Grats on the cash grab though, Panini. The ultimate finesse.

Yet there are huge offers for the LeBron Gold.

Seems to be that the market is still trying to figure things out.

Basically feast or famine...both NBA and UFC offerings.

Average pack ROIs are still better than any of their physical counterparts, so at least there's that.

Finna need Richard Branson for them February TopShot dreams.

If pulling ZHANG WEILI cards were a game I'd be world champion.

Adesanya cards are super cheap (respectively).

Surprises me, since his physical cards are expensive. Well, maybe I'm only looking at his rc's.

Again, I think the luster is worn on these nft's, primarily because they are exactly the same as their physical counterparts. All panini did was re-use the draft designs for their Prizm/Select releases and slap a serial on them.

Panini should have, at the very least, used different images, border designs, or something to differentiate these things which would have given them an air of freshness and exclusivity.

Why would someone want to pay a significant premium for something virtual when they could buy the actual physical equivalent for far less?

That question is #1 when it comes to NFT cards.

It's a conundrum, for sure. But Panini did themselves no favors by making these identical. Completely identical (well, if you don't count the Blockchain logo they stamp on everything).

I think these would have quite a bit more interest if they were exclusive designs .

The whole concept of TopShot was lost on me (as you could simply download the clip on youtube), but at least there isn't any direct physical counterpart outside of kidnapping the players and forcing them to re-create the plays at gunpoint.

Honestly i've never understood NFT's at all..i tried top shot because it was a $10 and it paid off as i ended up making over 1k profit..i assumed (stupidly ignoring how Panini screws everything up) that with more name recognition and a signiture product like NBA Prizm this stuff would be even more popular than Top Shot. My logic was "if Top Shot LE stuff numbered to 1200 or less sells well..this stuff should too. But Panini's gonna Panini and it's been a total clown show.

Sounds similar to me. Made a pretty good amount of money on Top Shot. Going to break about even with Panini. I think both platforms are bad for different reasons. My question at the end of the day is this, if these are true NFTs, why can't I move them outside of their respective platforms? They have to be sold on their native platforms, which kind of negates the whole blockchain/NFT thing. I am super bearish on both. Top Shot hasn't proven that management can't get out of their own way, Panini is, well, Panini.

This is why I can't fathom people spending hundreds, if not thousands, on packs of this. Seems like it's super high risk with very low reward.

Yeah, the only packs I've bought are the initial base packs for the first drop, and a couple of the insert drops at $15..everything else was just too risky for my budget and even then, I'm about only $70 up, though the last two buys have brought my profit down big time

Maybe I caught the friendly end of variance. I’ve recouped 65% of my investment (105 Base and 15 Tie-Dye) while selling very few cards of real significance. It’s a little bit of a grind but the floor was really high on these with somewhat decent upside in my opinion.
