Sometimes I wonder why the same people have the same non-paying issues over and over is it just bad luck or is there some other issue we are not being told.
If that's true, then you are correct that I am very fortunate, but to say I have a lot of non-payment striked buyers trying to buy my cards would be an understatement. The list is fairly long. Sometimes I think people who send these crazy messages would also be the same type to change their mind after agreeing to buy your item. The messages just ooze of that type of buyer.

Account>Selling Preferences>"Blocked buyer list" EDIT. That'll get you there.

A little under 1500 cards

I believe it's 4 days. After 4 days you file non-payment with ebay. They give the buyer a chance and if the buyer still doesn't pay then they get a strike.

They no longer get extra time after you file. It's now immediate.vvoncevyou cancel for payment not received it's done. You have to wait at least 96 hours after before that cancellation option appears

I think the more you have listed the more you tend to get the traffice (good or bad) - I get 2-3 folks per week who ask silly questions but have only had maybe 1-2 non-payers since building up my inventory.

I get the oddball question every now and again, but mostly I get people wanting to know if I'm willing to discount a card. I don't do OBO because in my experience buyers who reach out to make an offer are more inclined to make a realistic offer than someone who just hits an OBO. That's not always true, but majority of the time it is.

I would say once or twice a year I get a message asking about condition and I answer them honestly, some buy some don't. I don't worry or think much about it.
