I think if it’s an issue set wide like it is for #’d they might overlook it intentionally. If they’re missing something so obvious why are any of us grading cards?

Thanks for sharing these, these details are good to know! On the other hand, it could be said that PSA graded the first batches of F1 subs way too harsh.

Personally, I think this uncertainty about the card conditions and the differences in grading makes F1 collecting fun and exciting! This is definitely something that is more suited for a long term play than a quick flip.

They look great in SGC slabs! May I know where these stickers were from? Are these the ones you get when you buy that sticker album?

For the past few months, I have been focusing my collection on the variations as I think that these cards look really good and might be the iconic cards of the Chrome and Sapphire sets.

Here are the Sapphire variation cards that I have so far. I'm only missing the two biggest ones

those look great. just started following along with F1 recently and picked up my first card this weekend. After watching the series Daniel Ricciardo is my favorite driver so picked up a topps chrome red refractor #29. Might add some more

I opened packs from ebay. 10 stickers in each pack. The sellers were all in Europe cause it was an Italy only release. The sticker album is a blank album.
Nice sapphire variation collection too btw!

Thank you for the info! I will check these out. Thanks for the compliment! I don't have a big hobby budget so I basically abandoned buying basketball cards for F1 variations the past month or so but I've been enjoying collecting these lol

Sharing here the last of the variations that I have on hand. I really like the gold Ocon variation with the Renault color match:

Hi everyone, noob collector here (long time F1 fan though)

Got this 77/99 blue variation of Topps Now 2021 #30. Not sure if it's good enough to show off 😂

Great card, in my opinion, any F1 cards are worthy of showing off!

Better long term investment.

Lewis Hamilton Refractor - preferably graded by PSA to ensure condition

or

Sealed wax - Sapphire or Hobby

Lewis refractor for sure, even if you are referring a single box versus a case. Those will be valuable but people value the sure thing more.

Go with a well centered PSA 10 Refractor, anything less and it's the Sapphire unopened. Huge chance of pulling low numbered cards. A 2 box break got me /99's, /70's, /50s, /25's and /10s.
