Default NFL hobby boxes - Best Bang for your Buck

What NFL hobby boxes offer the best value or best bang for your buck ?

Obviously Flawless and National Treasures haev the biggest "hits" but trying to figure out best in terms of overall risk / reward.

you have started quite a few of these type threads now.

do some research on your own. no one can answer these type of questions - NO ONE

unless you want to give us your detailed financial information (which i doubt you do), we cannot access what you define as best value. are you talking about $10k + boxes, or are you talking about $100 boxes. there is a difference.

the obvious answer is to buy the cheapest box you can find, and hope to hit the big card from it. that will give you the least risk with a nice reward.

thanks for the great feedback Glen! very helpful!

you said "nobody can answer this question" but then you actually give your answer!

: "the obvious answer is to buy the cheapest box you can find, and hope to hit the big card from it"

So you view the low end / cheap product as best risk / reward.

I am just trying to get the consensus view on products from 50+ people rather than just 1 or 2 opinions.

This. They are all bad choices. Over $300 for Elements lol. There really is no good box left for football. Gotta figure out what you are willing to overpay for. If you want autos and numbered, go with Chronicles or something like that. NT/Immaculate/Flawless will always be losers and Prizm and Select are in that club now also.

Buy singles

None of those boxes mentioned will net you the 'best bang for your buck'

Buying any sealed hobby wax at the current ridiculous prices and hoping for a favorable ROI is a fool's errand.

If you must open something, maybe go the retail route and try 2021 Prestige Megas at $39.99 (if you can find them)

Stop buying boxes and wasting your money unless you enjoy gambling and losing money. Just buy singles.

I voted Immaculate...

because the 2 best bang-for-your-buck nfl hobby boxes aren't even in the poll...

Donruss Optic & Gold Standard (at least it was, until I saw the prices this year)

You could say anything was until you saw the prices.

I still like Optic, even at current prices.

I also thought 2020 Gold Standard was good bang for the buck... at the low end of mid-tier, I was really surprised by the big cost increase this year.

I can only assume it's a last gasp by distributors/retailers/breakers to catch cash before the pull back really starts impacting their bottom line. Degens are gonna degen (I'm one, I'll own it)... but I've been pleasantly surprised with just much harder it seems to be for A LOT of breakers to fill breaks the last couple of weeks worth of releases. A reckoning is coming... an I, for one, can't wait!

none of them for the last year. they arent priced for individuals anymore. They are priced for breakers and gamblers. There is no product geared toward an individual purchase with a return.

if you really want to know, then you need to watch all the breaks on youtube and do the math.

I don't play the lottery. Well... not often, anyway.

I buy singles. Get what I want, without boxes of regret in the closet of shame.
