Without question. The hot cool thing is running

If that is what you are the beat at. You will not win for long

People have trouble differentiating Football good vs Fantasy good.

Kyler is a fantasy football beast. That team will air it out, let him run it, and not feed the running backs a whole lot. That's great for fantasy but doesn't always translate into wins.

I'd have a hard time in real football ranking Kyler that much higher than Baker Mayfield... but in Fantasy.. Murray by a mile.

I got a real real Dark horse Sam Darnold. He's going to have good year regardless do to the Panthers running game and play-action formations hes playing out of. I think he can do big things down here in Carolina.

Aaron Rodgers because he'll repeat.

Aaron Rodgers because he's going to go scorched Earth, throw 60 TDs, and then force his way out of Green Bay just for the lulz.

Aaron Rodgers because I'm a homer.

Take your pick.

I said the same thing in shorter terms on the 1st page, and I agree

It's really hard to see anyone other than Rodgers or Mahomes win it. The QB position is just too important. I'd give Josh Allen an outside chance as well. My dark horse is Matthew Stafford.

Who knows, though? There are always 2-3 teams who pop up out of nowhere and are crazy good.

I've had the chance to watch Arizona quite a bit during Murray's first two seasons. He's definitely exceeded all expectations I had from him coming out of college as passer w/ reading defenses and overall accuracy. I think he will end up much more in line with Russell Wilson as to how his running game extrapolates out over his career where it's more of an ancillary weapon and not as big a factor as it is now. That said, I don't know if I see Kyler as an MVP candidate this year but I think he's on his way and think people are sleeping on Arizona as a possible top 3 team in the NFC.

For MVP this year I'll go the boring route and say Mahomes is my front runner. There's definitely a possibility that team loses more games than expected this year and he gets penalized for it in lack of MVP votes in a Lebron Syndrome type situation.

Brady will win it as part great season, part lifetime achievement award as the Bucs blitz through the regular season with a 14-3/15-2 record and a 1 seed in the NFC

Jose Canseco is in the 42 40 club not the 40 40 club. I assume that’s what he’s getting at with Jameis

Default I will vote "other"

Derrick Henry. Odds are against him. Other true greats have not done so well in years past their 2,000 yard season. But should King Henry do it again - something never done in the entire history of the NFL, gotta show him some respect and award him MVP.

The league just keeps getting more and more pass happy and QB friendly so it will take something crazy to get it done from Non-QB players. Henry went over 2000 yards rushing and didn’t get a single MVP vote right?

Correct...

Last years voting went:

Rodgers: 44
Josh Allen: 4
Mahomes: 2

I found the fact that Allen had more votes than Mahomes to be insane considering that Mahomes:

-had more passing yards
-more TDs thrown
-less INTs
-higher passer rating
-higher QBR
-the best record in NFL
-Outplayed Allen head to head

All in 1 less game since the Chiefs had the 1 seed wrapped up.

The recency bias was strong last year... so keep that in mind about this season as well.

Tua. Miami will sweep New England, split with Buffalo and win 13/14 games. Tua throws for 4200-4500 and 35-40 TDs.

Homer pick, but whatever.

Obviously Baker… unless he hands it to Chubb more often

Then Chubb

Or Myles when he gets 20

I know I listed other as an option. But I should have listed Browns and Falcons not included.
