The Gold Vinyl 1/1 BGS 9.5/10 did $240k at Goldin during the peak in January. Last night’s sale is an absolute MONSTER.

Nope, not true. Sellers usually get a get piece of BP. In higher end ones like this, they’ll get majority of the BP.

PWCC has standard selling fees. This isnt a Goldin or HA situation where these fees are negotiated.

The 264k includes the 20% BP fee. Hes getting 10% of it so net is 242k.

You absolutely can negotiate the BP, particularly with bigger cards like this one.

I am starting to see the prices of luka lower end cards in PSA 10 going up a little. The high end market has been stable for a long time. If you are looking to buy Luka stuff before the season, the window might be closing before they start moving up strong.

I knew it could bring a wide range but was hoping it would go down the path that it took. I chose to sell now because no one is currently selling Lukas (no competition) and it is a grail gold 10/10 which collectors will covet no matter the time of year. It wasn’t like the vinyl which I think just got lost in all the crazy other cards that were selling at Goldin in that auction. I thought the vinyl was an absolute steal at the time. This card got tons of press with PWCC, Slabstox, etc since it stood alone.

Congrats on the sale. If I remember correctly you also had another gold contenders different photo? The flawless RPA you also have caught my eye. I should have bought one of them a few years ago. Anyways, nice cards

Thanks man. Yeah I have another gold variation contenders optic PSA 9 and the gold vinyl. The flawless is one of my favorite cards.

It includes it. The hammer price was $220k. All of the prices on the Premier auction include the BP right when the auction ends.

Congrats on the sale! Whether you got $230K or $250K+ that is a fantastic sale! A card going from like $20K (is that what these were initially?) to $250K in less than 3 years is a dream pay off!

Smart strategy, too. I may consider moving one of my higher end Lukas before the wave hits the market over the next 4-6 weeks before the season starts.

They were 5K when they immediately hit eBay as redemptions. Blues were $500.

Obv the Luka market got crazy fast but redemptions were all sooo cheap
I bought my Immaculate Moments redemption for $340
