Not trying to be argumentative. Just presenting the fact that if you buy a locker room pack there is a 99% chance you are getting $3 moments

Even if you filter the locker room account by S2 base which removes the rares and non-common sets, there are 100s of moments over $15. Thousand+ over $8. Id say with three rolls of the dice you have way better than a 1% chance of hitting something that beats your cost. I'm not saying you are hitting a home run here, but i am saying you have decent shot at a double and for sure a single.

Prices have been slowly climbing since then, about double now what they were at their low for almost all moments.
NFT's in general boomed, so a few big-spenders took profits and put them back into topshot.
I'm still enjoying it, personally. They've done a few things to keep the buzz going in the offseason, and they should be announcing the throwback "run it back" packs today, so that could be huge if some big names have classic moments.
I will admit, it was looking a bit dire a few months back, but it seems the NBA is really into TopShot and want to integrate it into the everyday product so that has helped the confidence level of buyers, I think.

I'm enjoying TS for what it is, but I'm still primarily interested in cardboard. My initial investment has already been deposited back into my bank account, so I'm just playing with house Dapper right now.

Nearly all of my recent activity has been WNBA related, although I'm not sure how many actual collectors like me are out there. I'm selfishly hoping that all of the WNBA moments crash at some point so that I can complete the entire set.

this was never not known... only those who listened to the doomsdayers here believed all those big name investors and literally the NBA were going to let this die within the first year of official launch.

Had a few hundred in Dapper that I forgot I had, managed to build the Top Play showcase after putting in an additional $20. Let's see where that goes. Shocked this thing is thriving as much because again, I'm not sure if it's the same pool of users just putting in more money or if they are attracting new users. That free WNBA moment leads me to believe it's the former, not the later.

It is the same users. People moved onto GOATZ, LIONS, TIGERS, and BEARS.

Seems like they are making some serious moves. The Dapper/Google announcement is big. FLOW, which is the actual underlying asset, seems to be much more stable with lots of future upside. The market seems pretty robust. I never have issues selling moments. Prices have been trending up nicely.

I have been impressed. I'm excited to see how things progress leading into the new season.
