Default What are some of the coolest things you've seen at card show tables? Looks for ideas!

There's a local show coming up and I'm thinking of getting a table.

I don't really plan on selling very much other than some low end to mid tier clutter, but I'm trying to think of ways to make my table enjoyable for anyone who stops by.

Has anybody seen tables that do anything that stood out to you as fun or entertaining?

Honestly, a large part of my objective will be to just hang out and talk cards all day. Will also be out there buying as well.

Let me know your ideas!

Most collectors enjoy a table that is organized, rows that are sport organized.

The new thing I have witnessed is self packed $20 dollar pack with auto & GU & RC of cards that would be valued at least that amount.

Oddball items bring up conversation and that seems to be your fortē.

Good luck and enjoy the show.

Price your card with sticker on top will increase traffic. 3 for $1, 3 for $5, 3 for $10.

Just having a price on everything is nice since that seems to be an issue when I go to these shows.

Thanks for the suggestions so far....

My takeaways that I think could work for me are:

-Mark some card boxes $.50, $1.00, $5.00 Etc, and just let People Dig
-Price slabs I have on showcase
-Maybe some junk giveaway packs for kids (mostly commons, but with base of stars in there)

What kinda of outside the box stuff could I do? I want people to stop by, see what I have, start a conversation, and enjoy stopping by.

How about a prize wheel? They're not too expensive on Amazon

Not at a card show, but I remembered when I was a kid, I came upon a card shop that does a double dice rolling game to pay and win cards. The owner charges a certain amount per roll of two dices and in a display case, there are 12 cards of various values and a number next to each card, and the player wins a card based on the dice rolls. Maybe, it was 3 dice, and a total of 18 cards, I can't exactly remember, but I thought it was kinda neat.

If you just want people at your table bring a flat screen TV. Don't know your phone plan or day, but having the big local game always brings traffic. Make sure you can get reception(internet unless it's on free TV) and can reach an outlet. Don't put it on the table. Bring a cheap plastic shelving display.
