Default Panini class action lawsuit update.

I posted on football as well because people need to see this and stop buying from them.

This is Panini's argument regarding unfulfilled redemptions, and why are people still buying their crap?

Is this one of those cases where a judge without a jury makes a ruling? If so, they need to be disbarred if they rule in Panini's favor.

Summary Judgment is ruled on by the judge, not the jury. I don't see how this argument holds up for Panini, but crazier things have happened...

Panini legal council pulling the elusive Nick Cage falcon card during cross examination.

Courtroom onlookers let out a collective gasp.

Cochran somewhere up in heaven with that proud daddy smile.

Somethin' like a cross between Teddy Aguhob and Kaboom Mystery Packs. I got that Givenchy denim flow.

No way this gets dismissed based on this motion if they have even a slightly competent lawyer

Thanks for sharing the link. Paul is a excellent twitter follow.

We will soon get to see the Plaintiffs response to Panini's BS request but the scheduled hearing on this motion is December 10th. Certainly will be an interesting ruling from the judge.

WOW, just a big F-You to collectors. I'd say I'm surprised, but really I guess I'm not. Sadly.

Yeah, they stopped caring about individual customers a long time ago. The only folks they give a damn about are their distributors and breakers who they expect to dump 98% of their inventory on

wow this is wild - great read w/the twitter thread.

i'd be curious if they're going to partition this lawsuit between:
1) outstanding redemptions where the card is live and available, but panini hasn't sent out in a timely manner (negligence on panini's side; i see no way for them to get around this)
2) outstanding redemptions where the athlete hasn't signed and/or returned the cards (this is where i see panini has a case)

i'd also be curious to know the current distribution of people waiting for redemptions that are live and how long they've been waiting. from personal experience i waited on a card from 2012 that was live at the time i pulled and i didn't receive it until 2020.

I seen a Mac Jones Contenders Variation C live. Guess what I am waiting on mine. Supposibly Lamelo is signing his stuff. I am waiting on 2 big cards. Contenders /99 and the base which seems to be a SSP. Kid is blowing it up this year and that is 2 big cards. I have 18 redemptions out and 4 are over a year old now. I did get in touch with someone a while back who made it right but not no email replies nothing from them. They just picked up WWE so who knows with them. Right now they are making a killing but making us suffer by having to wait for our cards that we bought are money with on their boxes.
