Default Are you a one sport collector?

I guess this could be posted in any sport but I’m a baseball collector. I’m curious how many people collect only one sport. I really don’t follow football and only follow basketball during the playoffs IF the Warriors are in it. I know there are people who collect almost every sport and I understand how season to season that would be more fun or excited and obviously more profitable. Collect what you like, just wanted to see how many other one sport collectors there are.

Only baseball, with a couple of small exceptions. I've started picking up RCs of stars from my childhood from basketball and football.

I have collected just baseball and in particular Ken Griffey Jr for my PC. I also enjoy watching football but baseball will always be my favorite sport. Go Cubs and Bears!

95% of my collection is baseball.

I love football, but the lack of affordable wax turned me off from collecting. I don't follow basketball.

The other 5% of my collection is F1, MMA, and Pokemon. I watch F1 & MMA religiously so those are just personal interests along with baseball.

Only sport I collect is baseball. Occasionally I'll pick up Marvel and/or Star Wars cards as well, but no other sports.

For now at least, I only collect baseball. But that may soon change if only for one reason: I'd like to some day obtain a Manny Pacquiao auto, specifically either his 2011 Topps Tier One or the 2011 Topps Marquee. I watch boxing and love and respect that guy a lot that I couldn't just leave him out forever.

89% baseball, 9% soccer, 2% everything else

I like football a lot -- I certainly watch more football than soccer -- but collecting football, as a guy who's not a lifelong fan of a specific team is ... not fun to me.

I collect only baseball. All of my NBA/NFL/other cards are either from when I bought packs as a kid or collections I inherited from family.

I watch NFL, MLB out of the big 4 (I used to watch a bit of hockey when I lived in Raleigh) and try to watch college football when I can/big games. Done with the NBA since players essentially threaten to not play unless they play with 4 all-stars/force trades. They could really get rid of half the teams the way the league is going.

Only baseball

Have not collected football/basketball since Topps Chrome died. Panini products are dumb

I usually open up only baseball boxes if needing to rip some packs, but I also collect football & entertainment memorabilia/cards on the secondary market.

I just collect Ben Hogan golf cards. Often times difficult to add to my PC, but the hunt is still fun. Check out what is out there and what I have in my collection at:

Good luck with your collecting.

Baseball only for me, and pretty narrow within that Schmidt, Jeter, Soto, Tatis, Ohtani and a wee little bit of Adell.

That is an interesting point. I love football, but have zero interest in football cards. I wonder if the helmet/equipment keeps you from feeling a connection to the players like you have in other sports where you see their faces every night.

90 percent Baseball: Griffey, Jeter, Soto, Tatis, Acuna, Vlad, splash of Robert, Atomic Refractors, 90’s inserts, TC rookie/Future stars autos

10 percent Basketball: Giannis, Donovan Mitchell, a splash of Ja, formerly some Zion now he’s on my TBD list haha, Revolution parallels, autos

Used to be into Soccer until everything I had literally jumped 5-10x. Sold and never replenished.

The football card world is a totally different game. It’s mainly just QBs that you have to overpay for, or other guys whose careers are short, or can be instantly cut short. It’s very hard to make a long-term impact on the game and the hobby for non-QBs.

I collect everything but only open baseball wax. There are more collectors in baseball so it's easier to sell all of the parallels that you pull.

Baseball only.

I love NFL but don’t collect any football cards. (Might pick up a few Mac Jones cards though)

I collect 80% baseball. But I agree with your comment above and that’s why I only collect 90’s football. You can’t go wrong with Favre, Rice, Marino, both Sanders, Manning etc……

Every sport. Mostly hockey because that's what I started in but I've slowly been adding baseball. Also have basketball, football, UFC, and soccer as well as a few other random sports.
