I'm trying to figure out what a 50 pack box will look like. I wouldn't be shocked if I receive 2 24 pack boxes and 2 loose packs.

Saying out of stock. With the lack of hype on here and one per person max, that's hard to believe.

Bc topps is done with the sports license.... they will try and make the most they can now...

Right but if you look at it from that angle, it's selling at a 39% discount to online retail.

So they charged the same pack price as their past 3 1st edition releases? This is not why they went the 50 pack route. Basically catered to breakers.

I'm not using common sense, I'm using my knowledge in how web applications and server administration works. There are applications that businesses can integrate into their sites that will activate a queue whenever traffic spikes and hits a certain threshold.

And as I'm typing this, guess what... it sold out.

I feel the same way. 50 pack boxes just don't make sense and they haven't done that in the past.

You don't understand the point of a "bot"...the point is to buy faster than a human possibly can...you think these guys just had bad bots and it took them 10 minutes to checkout lol?

My guess is that some groups hit it as soon as it went live as other groups may have waited and backed off. What little was left went to normal people. That would explain the queue the second it went live, and then selling out shortly after even though it was way over priced. Not that hard to come up with.

But once again, I guess you know better than everybody else and what a bot is and how it's used.

I had one in my cart, but couldn't pull the trigger on it. I just remember that all the foil cards I saw had imperfections the last couple of releases and it's all paper cards. And $750 is a big pill to swallow. You can get 2 jumbo boxes for that price with 6 guaranteed autos and parallels.

Last year's draft 1st edition boxes are over $600 a box last I checked and were pushing $800 in season. Jumbo Hobby is well over $500, not sure how that's considered a bomb lol.

I don’t get all of the people complaining about the price or talking about the perceived lack of value. It is priced the same per pack as it has been each of the last two years. The only thing that changed is the format and basically requiring you to buy two full boxes rather than by the single pack. At the end of the day the product is still the same and the price per pack of product is still the same.

Now if you think this draft class isn’t on par with previous two years draft classes and that’s the reason you’re not buying at the $15 per pack rate, then I totally understand what you are saying but that’s not really what I see in these posts. If you’re arguing that you don’t like that you’re basically forced to buy two boxes of it that’s one thing but it seems everyone is arguing about the price which is no different than years past.
