Totally agree. As someone else said, a lot of today's brand of basketball is ugly to watch. Much like baseball, everyone is going for the home run/3 ball. Loved the more methodical/fundamental way they used to play. If everyone was Steph, that would be another story. He's just amazing to watch. Can't wait to see him and Klay together again!

Divisions don't mean much in the NBA, but the Bucks are 42-4 against the Central (Bulls, Pistons, Cavs, Pacers) over the past 4 seasons. I think a few of those losses Giannis didn't play in either.

My guess in 7. Will trail DET by 4 points going into the 4th.

Lakers won the third quarter by 10, but now it looks like they’re doing everything they can to blow it in the 4th.

Lakers played to lose. Up 20 in the 3rd quarter; they stopped running and couldn't execute in the half-court. Only thing that prevented the L was Detroit unable to make a clutch basket down the stretch.

Lakers can't shoot FT's / can't shoot 3's. Not a good look for an NBA squad these days but the one thing they can do well is convert TO's to points. LeBron still great at leading fast breaks ... had a 19-2 advantage on those points tonight which was the big difference.

Lakers have outscored opponents in the 3rd quarter for 3 straight games, now make it 4.

I still think the Lakers will 'figure it out' come playoffs. Lebron has had bigger challenges in reality.

Pretty much exactly how it works on here. Sad but true.

The player threads in baseball of Tatis/Soto/Vlad/Acuna/Ohtani are loaded with this (just one of many examples that comes to mind). If any one of them succeeds who isn’t their investment, it siphons off cash from their chosen player.

There is constantly an exhausting struggle to control the narrative, which usually manifests in all out assaults on the accomplishments of the other players.
