Default Rare & Beat-up Lebron and Kobe inserts mail day

This was a nice mail day. When they are this hard to find, condition isn't really a deterrent for me.

The Kobe Patch is the 2000-01 Upper Deck Patches Gold. Very beat up (probably a 4-5?) but limited enough to purchase.

The LeBron is an unknown scarcity. 2004-05 Fleer Genuine Big Time. There have been 5 of these on eBay since release 17 years ago, so you are more likely to find a Jambalaya or other rare insert than one of these. They all come beat up so I think they might not have been meant to be released, but made the checklist and the pack odds 1:99. You can't really find anything from this set except the game used or auto cards which are not rare.

Amazing pickups as always!

Is it possible the Big Time cards were only inserted into retail packs and not hobby? I see Beckett has the 1:99 hobby pack odds and 1:125 retail pack odds. That xouod also explain why a lot of them are beat up if they came only in retail packs.

I forgot this thread exists. Classic. Also reminds me that "beat up" can be good.

That Kobe is actually a sneaky good find. An excellent action shot and a three-color patch so dynamic and subtle you don't notice it at first.

I was just checking my cards as I opened a hobby box of 2004-05 Fleer Genuine about 6-7 years ago and I found a Big Time of Carmelo Anthony.
