Grades seem right on.
Cool, at least the grades are ok. Have they sent back any cards ungraded?

I just received a job I’d on my order status. Does this mean they are grading my cards?

I'm in almost the exact same boat as you with the dates. I talked to them today - they said I was still a few months out.

If you received an order #, then it means that they received your shipment, and you're still several steps away from having your cards graded.

Anything to look out for after being moved to repository?

No idea when mined moved there.

Was an economy shipment 2/21.

I subbed my first cards to BGS in almost 2 years! These are thick cards, so BGS was the only way to go.

I did the express service which is "2-3 weeks" says the man. Who knows...

Will post if/when I see some activity.

Just an FYI from an email response I got from Beckett yesterday acquiring about my November 2020 economy submission.

Quote:
We apologize for the extended wait times. We still have both of your submissions put under the Economy level. We have been so swamped with orders and doing our best to get caught up. Economy level service is currently running 15+ months approximately to complete.

With that said, we are still working on the ones that we received in October 2022 that we are trying to complete as early as we can.

I would check on that. I got several standard orders that were submitted in spring '21 back in a pretty timely manner.

Did anybody else drop cards off at the Tarrytown show last weekend? Curious how long it typically takes to hear from them after a drop off submission.

Thanks for sharing. I also have an Economy order waiting from November 2020. Will hopefully have them back within the next 4 weeks.

Dropped off at the Dallas Card Show: 1/15 (paid $150 for "express")
Email Received from BGS confirming receipt: 1/17
Order status changed to "Label Printed" and showing 4/4 cards graded: 1/21

No grades posted.

Is this normal? Sorry, I'm a PSA guy venturing back this one time with BGS!

Thank you - that is useful information. I sent mine in Feburary of last year. It should get charged to my CC soon and then another few months until grading according to where they are in the backlog. Slow as molasses

I havent subbed with BGS in a couple years. On this site https://www.beckett.com/grading/services-and-pricing it shows only "Premium" service levels? Where do you go for the express level? Seems like they are only offering one level currently but I might be looking in the wrong place on their site.

They accepted "Express" at the Dallas show.

Wow, grades just popped and cards shipped!

4 business days @$150 each!? (not counting holiday Monday)

I'm impressed BGS!

To add to the frustration of how terrible BGS has become, in late October I called and put my account on a shipping hold till I get back from overseas... order shipped anyways.

What a train wreck BGS has become

Not sure if anyone knows the estimated backlog total at Beckett but I found it humorous that Gemrate is showing their daily output totals are still very similar to what I noted form 2020.

If Beckett has anything close to PSA's backlog, yikes.

Last year, Beckett only averaged 3100~ items graded per weekday.

These are the totals I’m seeing for the BGS serial numbers that were identified as being graded during 2020. The totals include rejected items that received BGS serial numbers like minimum grade rejects, failed crossovers, graded card reviews, labeled as authentic, alteration rejects, .......

Of note, the most productive day (5000 more than any other day, with lots of BCCG grades) I noticed was May 21, 2020 at 15,103 items graded. Ignoring the weekends, Holidays and the period Beckett was shut down for Covid-19, the least productive grading day of 2020 was August 14th, with 1,157 items identified as being graded.

I sent cards to SGC and PSA 3 weeks ago. Both are the n the grading stages as of my 3/2021 order still hasn’t moved at all. Probably not going back to Beckett for a while

Question, my cards show they are graded per Beckett. How do I view the grades under my account?
