Lebron prices went down after he won championship.
His prices have tanked hard from peak.

I hope Burrow and the Bengals do win the SB. Burrow winning a SB will create an even better Mahomes buying opportunity.

Trying to find the good in today lol

I guess I never realized how much Andy Reid hate was out there until moments like today.

Very true- his time management at the end of the game was frustrating. Just friggin score! Eagles fans can speak to his time management skills.

It's gotten worse. The Mahomie fanboys can definitely be annoying, but don't hit a man when he's down. That's cowardly.

Yeah..I just think it's super lame that most of the time the pro crowd aren't the ones that ghost threads..its the majority of the time the anti player crowd. They ghost when things are going well but the second a player has a bad game they pounce all over it. That's cowardly to me as well and a consistant theme in all these threads

It's a bit curious to see people say he isn't clutch or that he chokes in crunch time after what he did last week - basically a display of perfection the final 2 minutes + OT when every play could end the game.

Really disappointed in the Kelce and Hill drops - flashes of the bad games during the regular season. Drive killers when they needed to move the chains. Probably made Patty question the whole "patient" strategy unfortunately.

He is definitely clutch, no doubt. He just wasn't clutch in the 2nd half today.

His passer rating in the 2nd half was 12.5.

Rare and high end prices of MJ, Lebron, Brady are still strong.

I think his prices will be up and down yearly. Feel like the AFC will come down to the same 3-4 teams for the next handful of years (Chiefs, Bills, Bengals, Chargers?).

Burrow made plays and Bengals D made a play in OT to stop our drive. Hill did not drop that ball. Defender's hand got in between. Good defense.

Mahomes, Hill and Kelce have traumatized many fanbases over the years, so I get the hate now. There was a time when nobody talked about the Chiefs, so these times are good, even when the haters bask in their false glory.

Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes is shouldering the blame for his team’s overtime loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC championship game.

Mahomes had a night and day difference between the first and second half of the AFC title game. In the first half, he was flawless, throwing for 220 yards, 3 touchdowns, no interceptions. In the second half and overtime, Mahomes threw for just 55 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions. It was nothing short of a meltdown for the talented young signal-caller.

“I’ve got to be better,” Mahomes said following the game. “When you’re up 21-3 at one point in the game, you can’t lose it. I put that on myself.”
But what happened in the second half that caused Mahomes to be so ineffective? Andy Reid said after the game that Cincinnati didn’t do much different, other than playing more man coverage on second down. Mahomes credited the Bengals with a good game plan as it related to his scrambling ability. They put a spy on him that limited how much he was able to get with his legs.

The real problem for Mahomes was something that plagued the Chiefs early on in the season. He passed over open plays underneath looking for plays that were open downfield. He got too aggressive.

“Just a few misreads here and there,” Mahomes said. “There were guys that were open. I didn’t hit it the right time or I passed up on something shorter because I wanted to get something deeper down the field. When you’re playing a good team and you don’t hit what’s there and try to get a little bit more than what’s necessary, it kind of bites you in the butt. We were playing so well in the first half, and in the second half we were just off a tick. And that’s all it takes to lose a football game.”

Sold a 2017 Prizm PSA 10 at halftime for $8,000 and I’m afraid the buyer is just going to return the card because of the L. I messaged the buyer to ask him and he didn’t respond…

His prices will be effected by what the chiefs do in free agency and the draft this off-season. If they add some flashy WR’s and defensive pieces, his stuff will probably spike in the months leading up to the opener.

You like to generalize things as usual. Lebron 2003 TC Gold Refractor BGS 9.5 true gem sold for $319,800.00 last year (Nov 01, 2020) after he won his 4th ring. A TC Gold Refractor BGS 9.5 true gem sold for 900K few weeks ago (Jan 8th)

I’m guess on a golden or another pump auction house. Hard to tell what the value truly is in this hobby. So much scamming and manipulation going on.

There is a BGS 9.5 min gem that is currently at 670K with BP with one week left. You can choose to believe what you want to

As for Mahomes that was an absolute all time choke job. He was a shell of himself in the second half and played just dumb football. Although the outcome wouldn't of mattered, he is damn lucky he didn't cost them the game at the end of regulation on the fumble. Seeing a lot of blame about how the 1st half ended. While I don't agree with not taking points there, you also were up 11 at home and get the ball in the second half. You can what if any game or decision, the reality is the way Mahomes played in the 2nd half is the reason for the L. The offense didn't score until the FG to send to OT since the 5 minute mark in the second half.

His prices are absolutely going to take a massive hit. This game is going to stick with him for a very very long time. All the guys holding the high end will tell you his high end won't drop and is safe, but it absolutely will. I think he really needed a ring this year to maintain prices and had as good of chance as any this year. Especially if Burrow gets a ring this year, tons of money will flow into him. In addition, the AFC is loaded with young talent Burrow, Herbert, Allen, etc.

Hopefully everyone that was invested heavily uses it as a learning moment. I am not telling anyone to sell Patrick Mahomes, but I have been saying for a while to take profits and move them in to safer plays like Jordan, Brady, and Lebron. Now isn't the time to do it. The good news is Mahomes will be back and have plenty of big games to redeem himself. I will absolutely be buying this offseason, because I still believe in Pat long term. He blew a huge chance for his cards to explode with ring #2 and Brady retiring (most likely) The hype train would of reached a new level

Really happy for the Bengals. You can't dislike Joe Burrow. As a Chiefs fan this one will sting for a while. I honestly didn't think Mahomes had a half of football in him like that in such a big game.
Yeah, disagree with the first 4 paragraphs of this.

You don’t think mahomes choked in the 2nd half? And you don’t think his prices are going down? And you don’t think that Brady and MJ high end is safer than Mahomes?

Mahomes is going to the conference game for the next 10 years. He will, by law of averages, sneak in and win another imo

He will be fine.

I actually don't think he choked nearly as bad as people are making it out to be.

And absolutely not. His stuff is trending upwards from one of the greatest playoff win ever. Momentum in the offseason is up, specifically for high end.

Well of course MJ, but the people dropping 5-6 figures on Mahomes cards aren't bailing because of an AFC championship loss. I don't think that they are that short sighted. Expectations cannot be for any player to be in and/or win the SB every year. Dollars will be going somewhere and Patty's resume stacks up with the absolute best of today. He is the MJ of the NFL.

You may want to rewatch the 2nd half again, then.

Naw, I know what I saw. Very bad play, but choking would have been something that looked different. Offense certainly didn't move the ball at all. No team really went and took that game.

And get through a gauntlet of Burrow, Allen, Herbert, L. Jackson, possibly Rodgers w/ Denver, and whatever defensive juggernaut pops up in the AFC? And year after year this will happen? Hmm.

Mahomes fans - this isn't about him. It's about how incredibly difficult the NFL playoffs are. Just assuming your guy will overcome the odds stacked against him for decades of play is dismissing reality.
