Happy new year everyone! I hope all is well and that we have baseball this year.

I’m honestly pretty happy with where my team is at even though they underperformed last season, but I’m always open to talking trades. Probably would be looking for another decent SP as usual, I have some bats and minor leaguers available.

This is about the time where we start thinking about getting organized for the upcoming season. Last year keepers were due on Feb 28 with the draft starting on March 1

I'd like to keep a similar schedule this year so we're all ready to go if the season isn't delayed, but with opening day not scheduled until March 31st, we do have some wiggle room to bump things back a few weeks, and maybe that would be a good idea

For now, I think we can start with people sharing if they are in for another season or not, and we'll see how the next week or two go with (hopefully) some CBA progress and announce a keeper deadline in a little bit. It won't be be before Feb 28th, but we may push it back to something like March 14th if it's looking like that's how things are trending

No big rush yet, but I'll start PMing people over the next week or two to gauge interest in another season. Feel free to post here if you see this and you're in for 2022

Looking back as some of the discussion from last year, I don't think there was any major changes we needed to talk about. For the first time in a long time all our members are on BO and active, and no concerns about needing to replace anyone, so that will be really nice to have again

The only proposal I'll make is to contract from 2 divisions to 1 so everyone is in the same division. I don't think it's been that big of an issue but that will make playoff seeding a little more fair

I do like the idea of 1 big division instead of 2 smaller ones as that would ensure that the teams with the best records get the correct seed in the playoffs. But it’s not a huge deal either way.
