All these auctions are being done by the same hackers. If you go to the second picture they have contact information. They don't care if these get taken down, they want people to contact them off of eBay to scam them there.

eBay has a 36B market cap, but can’t hire a software engineer to write a program to prevent outlier bulk auctions from being listed.

Maybe theyll learn a thing or two.

And another: https://www.ebay.com/itm/20383057953...b8e4%7Ciid%3A1

This is my card. Currently in my possession. There’s also an Impeccable Numbers Curry Auto 4/30 that was mine, and I’m fairly confident the person I sold it to didn’t decide to resell it so soon.

This has been happening again on a bunch of other sports memorabilia listings. They take finished listings and repost. Then often will put their "contact" info in the listings for a quick sale.

This same exact scam (down to the font they use on that stupid picture) keeps happening for other categories on eBay, I’ve seen it hundreds of times over the past 3-4 years(!) for bicycles. So don’t expect a quick resolution (only hope is that now that it’s hit sports cards which is a huge money maker for eBay, they get serious about security). All you can do is report the item so eBay takes it down. Now that it’s hit sport cards, this is about to get dreadful for your saved searches.

#1: They have a seemingly unending amount of hacked accounts.
#2: They steal other people’s listings and relist them on those hacked accounts, only difference is they add that photo saying to contact them outside eBay
#3: Given how quickly they post thousands of these, it’s clear they have automated software to scrape the old listings to post on their hacked accounts. So there’s no point in trying to keep lists of the hacked accounts. All you can do is report it and eBay takes it down within an hour or two. And obviously, before bidding on anything, check to see if the listing has that garbage contact info photo.

i have reported this seller to ebay. Let's see how long it takes to take it down. When you search for 1986 Fleer almost one page of listings from this seller will be on top of all the search results, lists high end PSA 10s of Jordans and other 1986 fleers

12 hours later and they are all still up. eBay has put no effort into preventing this.

Amazing this keep happening so frequently. So what is the angle here? Does ebay ever even pay them? Or ebay pays them and ebay has to send a refund on their own dime? or they just fishing for people to contact them off ebay??
At some point ebay is going to have to validate all transactions over a certain amount even for graded cards.

This has been happening for a while and like somebody else mentioned, it’s always the same cards listed. While eBay may be slow to remove them, I haven’t seen any of these auctions actually make it to the end though. So obviously the goal of the hacker/scammer isn’t to make a sale through eBay but indeed for people to contact them off eBay.

they keep relisting the 2018 cryptocurrency Brooklyn back mini 3/25. You see that one being sold, that seller's account has been compromised. It's listed by two different sellers right now.

If you read the description they ask you to contact them outside of ebay for cheaper price. That's the angle and the real scam. It only takes a few to contact them outside of ebay and boom scam worked
