Only 500 packs available for the trade tickets drop? I’ve got a bunch of moments that I can’t even sell for $2. Not wanting to sell for $1 but not sure I want to go the trade ticket route either with so few packs being made available. I’m curious what others are doing with their junk?

With the abundance of /60k amounts hitting the market and many more to come, I don't understand why Dapper is against burning moments. The moments that are traded in for trade tickets should be burned instead of being made available again. They could also offer challenges where moments are burned.

I know they are mainly concerned with the value of Legendary/Rare moments but more scarcity has rarely hurt a market.

I don't like the trade-in program, that's just me personally. I don't like how rare these S1 packs are (chances low), if I don't get a pack I have $700 dapper I could have earned in the MP tied up in useless tickets & I feel all moments traded in should be burned, but since they are not doing that & me listing a Robin Lopez 58K/60K moment results in it being at the bottom of the $2 pile forever, I will sell at $1 when it makes sense. If it's a good player like Jokic or whoever, I'll let it sit forever at $2, but anyone else with an extremely high serial is getting sold for a $1.

I unequivocally agree with every word written here. It has been obvious since from the start of series 3 that 60k or even worse 75k is too high for the demand. An easy way to reset the equilibrium between supply and demand is to start burning.

Do all of the Team and NBA logo 1/1s going up for auctions have the same prize: 5 years worth of NBA All-Star game tickets and swag/happenings out the wazoo? Will be interesting to see what these end up selling for on site at auction. I'm guessing people will buy them, use it next year, then sell some after the NBA all-star game so someone else can do it the following year.
I should have 13 of 14 possible free entries by the end of tonight. Hopefully the draw my number out of the millions of entries. If so, I'll probably call up Mr. kgoldin to see if he wants it on his next auction.

Cheapest 2021 All-Star Game moment is $126 right now, since the sets are only Rare and Legendary tiers.
And the same player could get multiple of these categories. The fine print used to read "if the same player achieves multiple items, you must have the same number of copies of that player in your showcase" so who knows, a bottleneck could be needed here in quantity. Lamelo cheapest moment is $53.

Total noob to this, so here's a few questions

I signed up and bought the 3 starter packs. All commons except a rising stars moment

I don't have any set goals and I'm not going to spend anywhere near enough to enter any challenges, so I thought I'd at least get the twolves common moments, with my luck of course I pulled zero.

I see truckloads of commons listed for $2, do these actually sell? Is it worth it listing all my commons and then try to get a cool twolves moment?

As for packs, after buying the starter packs I get this banner telling me I qualify for a booster pack, but it says sold out when I click it. Are new ones listed eventually?

And how do I get new packs, everything is marked as sold out, except some that cost tickets. How does this work, how long before a new drop do they give us a heads up? Is is easy to get packs when they drop?

As I said, a noob, so please be gentle.

A1) Yes, all $2 moments will sell eventually, and many will actually go up to $3-4 and sell in a few months (or days if the player has few moments and is needed for a challenge). As you noticed, there are some packs from two years ago (Season 1 reserve packs) which require 350 trade tickets in order to get one. People will buy all the $1/2 moments and trade them in to try and get a reserve pack. Once they're all gone, people will list some more but trade ticket needers will start buying $3 moments. There are just a lot of $2 moments right now since some very large numbers of packs just dropped.

A2) Yes, new ones are listed every once in a while. Just keep checking back.

A3) If you subscribe to the email list, they notify you any time there is a regular pack drop. Some packs are easy to get (like 200,000 for sale with a max of 3 per buyer at a time); as long as you get it in the queue you're nearly guaranteed at least one pack. For rarer packs, you have to get in the queue and hope the RNG (random number generator) is in your favor.

Hard Challenge:
1) Player with most time played: Steph or LeBron? They tie on all three tiebreaks. Not sure how TS will handle this. Could do either/or. Looks like they made it either DeRozan or Giannis.

Giannis Antetokounmpo and DeMar DeRozan each played a total time of 26:40, and either can be used for the Most Time slot. This was the most total time played based off the 3 quarters that were timed in the All-Star Game format

2) Player with most points: Steph Curry
3) Player with most rebounds: Giannis
4) Player with most assists: Trae
5) Player with most 3pm: Steph Curry
6) MVP of the All-Star Game: probably Steph Curry
7) Player who scores first basket of the game: Giannis
8) Player who scores last basket of first half: Steph Curry
9) Player who scores game-winning point: LeBron James
10) Any 2021 All-Star Game Moment.: Starting at $134 on MP.

For fun, I bought a Rare all-star game moment. Then I bought one of every player in the all-star game that I didn't already own. First time I've bought Dapper bucks to TopShot/Allday/Strike since my initial investment over a year ago. Since the Fancraze cricket site runs off a different wallet, I had to put in seed money there.

Update: just bought my 5th Curry moment so that I can get all the ones needed right now. And now the game's over.

Final tally: Steph Curry (4.5*), Giannis (2), LeBron (1.5*), Trae (1), All-Star Moment (1)

If you get a pack for this release on Feb 28, there is a 13.3% chance of you getting a Series 1 LeBron James to /1000.

And I would guess, once they open up pack sales on the MP, you'll do very well on it. Whenever that is.

I think the pack would not be a bad option. The thing I’m worried about is that they are only releasing 500 so you could end up missing out on a pack and then are just sitting on 350 trade tickets which you can’t use.

Correct; those are the odds for the 500 packs they're releasing. I have to think since they're releasing like 11,000 of the /1000 cards in a pack at a time, that they still have thousands of these packs to release over time. So you will get one eventually.
And that slow bleed of packs will also lead to those $2 moments always selling and then the $3 moments always selling. No need to liquidate them for $1-2 when you have a guaranteed 50-200% profit margin on your own items in just a couple of weeks or months.

topshop changes directions so much. It is tough to plan on anything past each drop one at a time. Keep packs plan of last year, not happening yet. S1 or S2, S2 sucks being in the middle with limited utility. Endless minting, nothing is scarce. Claw back on fees, not what really happened. The list is very long on what is planned and what actually happening being very different.

This is what i complain about most. Changes, makes it hard to plan for the future.

Back to hard labor, moving. NFT is actually fun after moving for a week.

What Rising Stars moment is it? I would sell that to fund any wolves you want. Depending on who you got could get you started in that team direction.

This is likely what's going to happen. They are very limited.
You just gotta hope one day the TS gods are with you.
