Default [Insert Your Team Here] Mount Rushmore Football Edition

Stealing this from the baseball forums. For your favorite team, who do you have as your absolute top 4 franchise players forever etched into the side of a mountain and in what order the same as the OG one.

I'm a Bears fan, here's who I'd want:

Washington - Walter Payton
Jefferson - Mike Singletary
Roosevelt - Brian Urlacher
Lincoln - Gale Sayers

Payton in the pole position is an easy choice. Urlacher's recency bias gets a bit tucked away like Roosevelt. Singletary near his teammate as his career overlapped with Payton as Washington and Jefferson did. Sayers set apart as a star that burned bright but gone too soon. That's a mountain I'd go pay to see.

I’d only put guys on it that played the majority of their careers with the team. Neither of those two would make it.

True though when I think Falcons that's who comes to mind #TecmoSuperBowl. Jesse Tuggle! He's a good guy. Matt Ryan for sure. Maybe find some good draft gems that can one day be held in high esteem. This guy did a good job with it.

Dallas Cowboys

Roger Staubach - Automatic, no question
Emmitt Smith - Automatic, no question
Bob Lilly - Automatic, no question

hmmmmm....Give me Larry Allen for the fourth member.

Though guys like Troy Aikman, Jason Witten, Randy White, Tony Dorsett, and DeMarcus Ware could all make strong arguments.

Packers

Washington - Aaron Rodgers (recency bias)
Jefferson - Brett Favre
Roosevelt - Bart Starr
Lincoln - Ray Nitschke

Honorable Mention: Curly Lambeau & Vince Lombardi (non-players)

It hurts leaving Reggie White and Charles Woodson off of this list, but they both spent most of their career with other teams

Brown
Newsome
Kosar
Graham

It’s ridiculous how rich the Browns history is (I know the SB era doesn’t care) based on my omissions

All time it’s has to be:

Fran Tarkenton
Randy Moss
Adrian Peterson
Alan Page

I’m not old enough to have watched Tarkenton and Page play so I’d swap them with Cris Carter and John Randle for my I watched them play MT. Rushmore

I like it. It's your top 4, doesn't have to be the consensus best . Though he's better known at QB Browns.
