Angry

Just passed 20 kidney stones at one time. Granted that most of them were tiny, but... Still feel more in there.

Everyone of my platinum badges goes in a box in the basement when I get home from the show. Nice try.

Because we don't have enough money to pay for private school and have no one to ensure he would do the work if he was home schooled. Virtual learning was partially a disaster for him because he would get bored and start Pokemon cards or toys to purchase online because the person we were paying to ensure he was online doing work never sat there and actually stopped that.

I was thinking about that last night but without a school curriculum, I have no idea what words to choose to work with him on that are a 5th grade level. He is always asking me how to spell words when I do his homework with him.

Last night's drill consisted of cutting trees with chainsaws. I brought the wrong jacket as it got really cold outside with the wind. Thankfully, they got called out for a structure fire in Pomfret (only to be put back in service before getting there), so I could go back inside and warm up.

Will be at the fire station pretty much the entire weekend.

Tonight is all hands cleanup. Tomorrow morning is banquet setup. Saturday night is the banquet. Sunday we have a girl scout troop coming through for a tour.

I am getting a new phone today. I have had this one since 2017. I really dislike phone shopping.

I honestly just want to drink some whiskey and go back to bed for the day.

That would be stressful for me.

I hate change.

I have always heard about the pain but fortunately have never had to experience it.

Doesn't drinking lots of tea cause them?

Same. Mine is older than yours by a number of years. My kids are always asking when I'm getting a new one.

While I'm generally ok pushing boundaries with $#!+posting in this thread, I'm not real sure how I can respond to this without going full cheezenutz

And you never go full cheezenutz

There's this new website "google.com"; they give you answers to all sorts of things. Some variation on "5th grade spelling words" would likely be a good jumping off point.

They track your searches though and would think FT was in 5th grade...
