He’s a good pick at #260 or whatever, but I felt fine dropping him after he hit under .220 last year, something like .175 last year against lefties and like .200 for his career against lefties. I think he’s a total platoon play now. Of the FA OFs available this off-season, he ranked outside the top 10 in points scored last year.

That all being said I hope he works out for you, I just lost faith.

I mean…..I didn’t draft him and I’m done with my first 5 rounds of picks. So that shows where I value him lol.

I’m full up on OF- but sometimes you gotta just take the best/most exciting option at your pick, regardless of needs. I’ll gladly add the young, hungry kid who has 20/20 potential that I almost took with pick 26 and Pick 29.

I’d also like to throw out a possible rule change to make rosters a little more interesting and strategic. But possibly could we slowly transition the 3 OF spots to RF CF LF? It opens up tons more doors, lots of guys have multiple eligibility, and is just more strategic than plugging 3 OF
