If you read the fine print of the rules online, it states if a three player card is pulled and there are multiple owners then they will sell the card and split the profits. So if a triple logoman is pulled with multiple owners then no one gets the card. What a joke and waste of money.

There's never going to be a perfect solution to that sort of situation, but I tend to think "everyone gets something" is better than "one person gets it all and the other two get nothing" - I'm not familiar with Blez's rules but I've seen other breakers who handle a situation like that by initiating a dialogue between the "partial owners" and letting them work out amongst themselves if they want to sell it, if one person wants to buy out the other two at an agreed price point, etc. I'd assume that's what they're doing here, it only makes sense.

If the LeBron triple logoman gets hit, I’m sure the three people who had the Cavs, Lakers, and Heat in that break will be more than happy to take 1/3 of whatever that card sells for.

Yes, there is not a great consensus on handling multi team cards in the industry, including Layton (who I actually personally like and have entered breaks with). Even as recently as the monster triple logoman they pulled - if you watch the video someone owned 2/3 of the teams, so got the card. I’m sure this will be controversial, but for a potentially life changing amount of money, I think open dialogue between any owner and the sell of a card like that is warranted.

I’m also guessing anyone able and willing to spend 40k on a break is less concerned about fairness.

I'll never understand the mentality of these guys. If I have 40k for a break, I would rather throw in another 10k to buy 2 boxes and keep everything to myself. Almost nothing is worse in card gambling than watching the next guy gets the trophy card and thinking it could have been yours.
